Chris' comprehension of shock imagery -

Given the extent of trolling Chris has received over the span of his internet misadventures, it seems well within the realm of possibility that someone would have tried to link Chris some type of shock image or video. This seems rather curious to me considering most everyone knows someone who knows about goatse or 2girls1cup etc.

What I'd like to know is how his thought processes work when confronted by such things; would he understand the absurd physics of the former and the deviant nature of the latter, or would it simply become a matter of one involves a man so it's icky while the other involves women so it's sexually gratifying?

I am not sure if this has ever been discussed-- or suggesting that anyone attempt to expose Chris to disturbing media. Insight from other members is what I find interesting.

I watched "Cannibal Holocaust" the other day. It was okay, but seeing the tearing apart of a monkey's skull, a whole big turtle and even seeing that dude's dick get cut off bothered me. But it's Hollywood magic; fake dummies, motorized limbs, prop guts and all, so I get over the feeling with that perspective. I liked the part where the professor lured out the women of the tribe to play with him in the water

It seems that he was disturbed by the gore, but that last one was a (fucking obvious) rape scene.

I find quite disturbing that not only did he like it but that he described it as "playful". He didnt even get that it was RAPE.

I've always assumed that his reaction to cannibal holocaust was a result of his inability to put the feelings of others before himself. The notion that the character in the movie didn't consent wasn't even considered because Chris wanted to see sex.

I agree with this. He knows rape is a bad thing and that no means no, but I don't think he completely understands that there are circumstances in which sex might be unwanted or unenjoyable.

Ivy and her friend showed Chris End of Evangelion, which I guess Chris was semi-familiar with the series. According to Ivy and her friend, the only positives Chris took away from the film was the "sexy" scenes (Misato and Kaji in bed, Giant Naked Rei) and Shinji's inner struggle (which of course mirror's Chris life somewhat). All the shocking elements (Askua's vs. MP Evas, Instrumentality, the ending, the fact that the world ended because of a 14 y/o's Impotence) didn't phase Chris much, other than to make him feel uncomfortable.

Does he realize that actual animals were killed in Cannibal Holocaust or does he think it was fake? I don't know if he'd be as okay with it if he knew they were actual animals.
