I was wondering what would happen if instead of going back to Sonichu, Chris decided to create something truly original for once, with no mash-up characters or stolen Family Guy jokes.

I bet it would a rip-off of generic anime, with some Sonic-like plot and dialogue thrown in there for good measure. He himself would also probably make a self-insert appearance.

The problem with your hypothesis is that it assumes Chris has any imagination. But he doesn't, plus he's lazy and a fat.
