I assume this is about dating advice or something similar. My first instinct was that it was related to job interviewing, but then I realized who we're talking about. So I'm going to guess that he's been reading a lot of dating education online, and they all say to make eye contact, and he somehow determined that he sucks at it.

As someone who is not a particularly socially upfront person, I'm almost tempted to give him a sliver of an iota of "y'know, I kinda agree with this." But it's his refusal to actively do anything about his lack of a real life that takes that way.

You know, as someone with autism, I can relate, Chris. I never was good at eye contact because it always felt like someone was starting into my soul when I look that them and I feel defenseless.

Though, I guess eye contact isn't everything, I mean, considering how far I have gotten today. It didn't stop me from not getting a girlfriend-free guy.
