Seriously though. I think the most damaging thing to any artistic medium is having the people involved take a hardline political stance, or bully them out of it. It's really sad to see this sjw stuff ruin so many companies. It's sad to see the old greats starting to lose it, but maybe good companies will emerge when they eventually go broke. Or when that anti loot box bill passes.

The fact that a lot of people seem to be okay with games shoehorning political stances makes me think that video games are going to make their hard turn into becoming outright propaganda. Then again there's already evidence of that happening I suppose.

What I got from that was 'Ubisoft likes to throw political themes into their games but doesn't say anything meaningful with them (read: doesn't validate my own beliefs) and this makes me mad'.
