I actually think that The LEGO Movie is something I'll see this year, it looks like the good kind of stupid.

This is kinda disappointing for me. I thought the movie was going to be made stop-motion, but instead it's pure CGI.
And it doesn't help that here in México all kids' movies are dubbed and I won't be able to enjoy all of the original and talented voice actors...

That's a hell of a thing to extrapolate from him reposting a movie trailer on his Facebook. It's been almost two weeks. Is he supposed to abandon all of his interests after losing his house, and if so for how long?

To be fair, I'd be more worried about the manchild if he totally gave up on any of his interests and decided to become a shell of himself. I mean yeah, we all give him shit about liking toys and crap, but we gotta remember the guy is still a human- let him be excited about a goddamn movie.

That said, if he decides to buy all the LEGO movie playsets that will come out with his tugboat, THEN we can be pissed off.

I doubt Chris is sad he's away from the hoard but I don't think Chris has the drive to start the for intentionally.

I frankly cannot see him commit arson without accidentally setting himself on fire.

It's likely the house itself really doesn't mean much to Chris at all other than as a roof over his head. He can be naively optimistic about his situation right now because he thinks everything is going to be a-ok. He currently has a roof over his head and a warm bed at night in a motel provided by the insurance company and soon the house will be rebuilt. In his mind, he probably thinks "It's taken care of!"
