is it cool to make fun of autistic people now? Did I miss memo or something? because that seemed a bit not cool to me
It's making fun of the people who catalogue Chris Chan's life and spend their own lives obsessing over him. Try reading the entries you're commenting on.
Its not about that guy, but that "sub-culture" devoted to him
I agree. It seemed a little mean spirited to can an autistic person a "man child" who still lived with his mommy. Where else is he gonna live. A lot of people on the autistic spectrum can't take care of themselves.
I get that they were making fun of the people who have nothing better to do with their lives than follow the minutia of some random autistic person. But I feel the entry could have been worded better.

That may not be a bad thing at the end of the day.they spelled the website wrong
Some guys from Botswana who dress all in leather in the desert. Entry #1 in Cracked lists is always kind of lame...
Thing is, people will always defend Chris first because of is impairment. It's not until they look deeper that they will see the kind of person Chris really is. If some of these white knights read the wiki, in all likelihood they will turn. There will still be those who won't and will pat themselves on the back for defending "this poor, autistic man."
My hometown has done this annually. Don't know if it still happens. I never understood it. Hundreds to thousands of rubber ducks are bought and then released into a body of water with a current and a finish line. There's a prize for whoever bought the winning duck(s).I want to get into rubber duck racing!

My sister posting a video on him got me to look. After reading the wiki I understood why the video was so funny and not sad.The comments, as always, are the real comedy.
One of these noble white knights, picked by curiosity, might feel compelled to learn more about Our Pet Lolcow. Then a bit more... and more... until one day they look in the mirror and discover they're ONE OF US
