Intermittent Denial of Service attack is causing downtime. Looks like a kiddie 5 min rental. Looking into some solutions.
So he calls out his gal-pals for being pity friends, but almost every post he's made since then has been "poor me! Give me pity!"

Wow. He realizes his life is a dead end, but can't ask how to fix it. It must suck to think pity is a substitute for improvement.
I like that he loosely adapted the original quote to fit him better. Fry had a lot more going for him through, for starters Fry had a job before being frozen.

This is Chris we're talking about.
When he quasi-publicly tries to sell his porn, is he trying to creep out the universe? Does it really "explain a few things" to Sarah Bevel? Are the events even plausibly connected in Chris's mind, which is what we're talking about here? I don't think so. I think he's being totally blind-sided by the accusation. I've heard something like 90% of men masturbate. Pornography apparently does in the tens of billions of dollars in business annually. It's no surprise Chris masturbates to pornography. Most of the people who read this forum probably do, too.
The only difference is that this is Chris we're talking about. Wrong place, wrong time, wrong way to handle that.
I'm sure lots of people are posting on Facebook about New Year's. What else can he post about--how good he feels? Wishing all his friends well? His accomplishments over the past year? His plans for the coming one?
I'm sure he'd be happy to have the pity if the behavior got him it, and I'm sure he'd be happy to have gotten it in the past if the behavior got him it, but what's to say this is a premeditated attempt to get it?
Literally shooting yourself in the foot would hurt like hell. Chris has definitely figuratively shot himself in the foot. Whether it's all his fault or not, this guy is miserable.
