This may just be the biggest mystery in Christory--is Chris gay, straight, bi, asexual, etc.?

In my opinion, I think he's just too immature to have a set sexual preference. His rampant homophobia is probably due to the fact that he grew up in a conservative environment and repeated whatever was said about gays on TV, as well as the fact he's seen a lot of skimpy-dressed girls on various anime. Yet why he's worn a bra, collects My Little Ponies, and now cross-dresses is simply beyond me. :? It's cognitive dissonance at its best (or worst)...

Chris is straight.

He's dumb and ill informed about sexuality in general so he can't wrap his head around non-heteronormative relationships even as he desires a relationship with a woman where he is passive and feminine and she is masculine and active. But this is because he lacks the critical thinking skills necessary to question the naturalization of gender binaries in our culture.

In terms of his actual sexuality: He's attracted to women.

Frankly, there is no room for wondering about this. If you want to open up a discussion about Chris's gender identity in the wake of tomgirlism that would make -some- sense. But even in that situation he still thinks of himself as male. He merely puts on the accoutrements of women to express his desire to be passive. It still comes back to his blind acceptence of gender binaries.

to expand on my earlier post, he may have many gay leanings and honestly he may be happier if he came out of the closet. but in his naive, child like mind gay=bad, gay=not normal. he wants to feel normal, but his television riddled head normal. he wants daughter crystal, he wants nondescript office job, white picket fences, and so on. but the course he's taken has made him pretty much unattractive to anyone gay or straight.

Nah, I don't believe Chris has ever had any attraction to men. When he talked about having to fight gay thoughts, I think that was more because he believed such actions were necessary, than them actually being necessary.

I believe that Chris, today, is solidly disgusted by male nudity to the point that it's impossible, by definition, for him to be bisexual or homosexual. Nowadays he literally cannot be attracted to men, so he can't be bisexual or homosexual.

Now, I think that that is mostly because he's trained himself to be so disgusted by men. Back when he was younger, if he didn't believe that homosexuality was so awful, I think it would've been possible* for him to be bisexual or homosexual, but I don't think it's possible nowadays.

*Though I think that it still would've been unlikely. He'd have the same chances of being homosexual or bisexual as the rest of the population, which isn't that high.

Eh, he's still attracted to women and wants sex. I think he just has a really weak sex drive, which his diet probably contributed to.

Straight but has no clue about social norms. He screams that he isn't gay because he's immature, that's usually how small children react when they're being called names or something they don't like. The Tomgirl thing is hard to pinpoint, maybe he just gets the idea that girls who are Tomboys can be straight, so he can dress more girly and be straight too. Since he has no clue about social norms, he doesn't realize people may think he's gay if he dresses like an old lady because not many straight men do that, unless they're crossdressers. Tomboys are generally seen as much more normal in society. To be honest, I didn't know there was even such thing as a Tomgirl before Chris coined the term for himself.

Which is kind of sad in a way. Despite his huge ego and earlier demands for Sonichu glory, deep down he just wanted a normal life. Well, mostly normal (he would be a househusband, probably play with toys, and be sexually dominated by his wife).

Oh, of course not. But homosexuality is rare on it's own merits anyway. I think it's a lot more likely that Chris is heterosexual but thinks that it's possible to become gay than he's actually gay in any way.
