Chris's Context of Antics and Questions of Them -

I was watching the saga this weekend, as I was doing some side work in my garage for my SCA armoring contract. While I was chaining some maille, I was watching in the second half in where Chris is in Juggalo paint. I was paused in thought, "What drove him to do this? I don't remember him having a /Juggalo saga/..?"

I had a less than startling realization. The fact that these videos have no true context leaves much speculation to what happened. Christory is inherently flawed. Some pieces do have counter-story, such as the Liquid/Solid saga and things like the Crazy Pacer. Where we see it being written by third parties, things other than Chris, even people who did not know his infamy, either. I'm not sure where I'm trying to go with this, but I feel like a-logging is more common when we don't understand the context of these videos. As Chris is sometimes, "blackmailed" or the like, so I have a sort of reason to why he does his antics on screen. Then again, we can always just throw it to the fact he's a little less than normal .

I think we should post the videos we have questions about and would like to have context for what they were. Since we have insiders, they could easily help clear some stuff up about it.

It's broken, I believe two other instances occurred in the 2nd part of the videos. They were quite far apart, they weren't back to back instances.

One thing I've noticed is that most folk seem to have differing opinions on Chris and his antics and this seems to be why there's a whole forum dedicated to him. I know that I've certainly had to modify some of my views after listening to alternate points of view from fellow forum members.

One thing I do know is that most of the saga's were scripted by others and Chris was just blindly going along, so some may not know this and watch a video and wonder why the fuck he's doing shit like this and draw their own conclusions. It's for this reason that i have a preference for the saga's with limited outside interference, such as Megan and Snyder. These are just Chris doing what he does.

One question I'd like to ask those who've actually spoken to Chris for real would be, is he really as abrasive and rude as he's made out to be, or as some of his facebook posts would imply?

I have never spoken to Chris but from everything we've heard he goes into his timid/boring mode where he either gives "hm yeah" answers or talks in length about whatever he's interested in. The Guru Larry interviews are a good example of this. Of course if he expects you're a troll/jerkop/whatever there's a good chance he'll be rude to you.

Most of the stranger videos were scripted. Pretty much a lot of us saying "it'd be funny if..." and then running with it. We also picked the songs in sparkle like you mean it. If I remember correctly, I picked out "Johnny, Are You Queer?" I thought Chris would do a good performance of that, and I wasn't disappointed.

Chris got so worked up about the possibility of this fictional "Johnny" being gay. Good stuff.

Well, his life is pretty shitty nowadays, so that's probably why he's such a whiny dick on facebook.

Without that kind of pressure, Chris isn't really a dick unless you're fucking with him or something. Really, in general Chris is a boring conversation partner. Basically what Dr Troy said.

The original idea for the CWCki was that a lot of it was written from the perspective of Chris. In particular, the sagas are presented as Chris experienced them in story book fashion. But over time, for reasons unknown to me (I'm guessing some original editors who liked this format lost interest in the project, and newer editors didn't like it as much), it started to pull the curtain back a bit, to the point where things were contradictory and confusing from one article to the next. And as the trolling abated the desire to keep up the pretense that this was all real lost out to just wanting to answer people asking questions like, "Was Jackie real or a troll?" It got smoothed out, but I feel like you still need to apply what's on the talk pages and the forums as kind of a guide to what really happened as more third-party, objective Christory.
