Chris's positive traits? -

We all know Chris has some personality traits that are...somewhat less than ideal.
What do you think are some traits seen in Chris that are basically good?

I like that he seems to put genuine effort into taking good care of Snorlax Barb. It's not like he has much of a choice, but I think if my mother was Barb and I had to run errands for her all day, I'd go absolutely mad.

It might seem somewhat ironic due to the nature of Sonichu and everything but Chris has quite the imagination on him.

"I will find you, I will cut you up, I will beat you up, I will knock you on your backside, stand on your gut like a log roller, and roll your fat right through your skull! Blowin' it wide open!"

It takes some creativity to come up with a threat like that.

I have thought about this subject everytime I thread like this comes up, but when it comes down to it. I can't find anything positive in Chris. He seems to have all the worse traits of humanity rolled into one near autistic package

He's an animal lover. I doubt he knows how to take care of his animals, but he really did love his cats and dogs, although the cats didn't seem to love him.

He has a very strange relationship to the law, but at least for the current time he's too scared to try to break the law.

He can be persistent or stubborn, depending on your point of view. He's been using different versions of the attraction sign for 10 years. Sure, it's hard to say that's positive, but at least in his own autistic way he's trying to find a girlfriend.

And, of course, he's actually fun to watch. He's not like Nick Bate (if you don't know who that is, don't find out who he is; your life will be happier) and he's not a bore like A-log.

Well, he's pretty much unafraid to be himself (speaking largely about Tomgirl, but it was evident back when he wore the Medallion as well).

He has a pretty decent sense of humour, despite most of it being unintentional. He is entertaining, creepy, fascinating. Though he may be egotistical in many ways, he is also a family oriented person, to a degree. He seems to genuinely care for his parents, his mother and his late father. Same goes for the dogs, the cats. And his own fictional characters. He genuinely cares for them, I believe. Chris is capable of loving and caring for someone or something, in his own limited and rather selfish ways. This is a redeeming quality, IMO. He's a very flawed and messed-up person but he is not a complete sociopath yet. This sets him apart from the likes of Nick Bate and other way more disturbing inhabitants of the endless pit of misery and decay that is the internet.

It's also why I honestly hope he eventually overcomes some of his difficulties. And though it is unrealistic to hope or think he overcomes them all, I hope one day he will be at a point that he's happy in his life, and at peace. I hope for a somewhat happy end to the saga. Because there's still a million people worse then Chris, more evil, less likeable. Whenever I see the gif of Chris morphing from kid into his current state... I dunno, it's rather painful to see. He's still that misunderstood unhappy little boy inside, covered in layers of depravity and perversion.

hmm I would say staying off drugs and tobacky is considered a good trait. my own personal opinion though, I'm sure there will be people who disagree.

Also even though his artwork is terrible, he does seem to put some care to it. Making the margins for some of the pages, putting the comics and drawings in binders, etc

Like Satan, I also would have liked to see him overcoming his problems.

Chris is very stubborn. The exact kind of trait that makes entrepreneurs succeed. The only problem with Chris is that his stubborness is negated by his extreme laziness.

Honestly I think Chris didn't look all that repulsive up until he started wearing barb's underwear and all that, and in fact if he would have just bathed a little more often and stopped shitting his pants he wouldn't have had so much trouble finding a "boyfriend free girl" had he just looked in the right places, and honestly I think his mentality would have followed, IE he only hates other men/the homos/pickles BECAUSE of his lack of a BFFG.

He's persistent, at least. I know that when Chris was still making comics that people complained about lack of updates, but the truth of the matter is that he did make eleven issues of Sonichu, each easily dozens of pages long at least. That takes some dedication to his craft.

And his art did improve some between issues 0 and 10, so there's that.

Additionally, he does have some skill with video games, or is at least dedicated enough to them. He beat Tomb Raider on hard according to the last FB leak. I play all my games on easy because I don't have the patience for dying over and over again.

And he hasn't given up on his dreams of finding a boyfriend-free girl to make into a sweetheart from the ground-up and having a daughter sweet daughter named Crystal with her. Granted, he isn't doing anything to make that dream a reality, either, other than pursuing the most passive-aggressive avenues possible.

And that's another interesting thing about Chris. It's really hard work to be that lazy.

Well, when he won this, he got a lot of shit for "spending a little less than half on his congregation", but he didnt have to share it at all. I would have kept it to myself.

I dont know why the hell would a church need vidya paraphernalia, but still it was kind of a selfless act. I guess the videogame crap may be used in the young adult group thing, but I think Chris wanted to make an alternate Game & Hobby place for himself

The funniest part is that he only won because the trolls thought he would make it into the game.

Sadly, their scheme didn't work.

He doesn't care about being a sheep and following the crowd, he's just Chris and I honestly wish more people looked at life this way instead of just getting into the latest fad lest their peer group make fun of them.

He likes to create. Granted, his creations are derivative but he'd rather draw, build with Lego, mould Crayola MODEL FUCKING MAGIC, and play games where you design or customise them than do any number of more destructive themed things.
