*couldn't find the original

I always wondered what that weird halo thing on his head was supposed to be.

Did bob not let Chris listen to the radio back then or something? It just surprises me that Chris has no top 40 songs on his mix in an attempt to look cool.

Some of his dad's music made the hits list though. Kind of another example of what happens when you grow up with much older parents than other children. Any other kids his age who put their parents music on there would have selected 70s or early 80s stuff.

i'm surprised he didn't even put any backstreet boys or britney spears on there, considering he must have listened to them a lot back then.

still waiting for the cherokee edition of chris's first album, btw.

Christian and the Hedgehog boys first album had alot of 90's and early 2000's pop music. I am shocked he did not throw a few top 40 pop songs on there too since he loves corny pop music so much. Maybe he did not own alot of music CDs back then and just only bought video games and legos. I just wonder how his class reacted when they saw this master piece. I just could not imagine a Highschool senior making something like this. He literally put a bunch of music from video games designed for children and some old jazz from Bob and called it his favorite hits CD.

I actually Like Sonic Boom a lot. It of has that anime opening theme vibe to it. Then again, I don't watch any anime anymore, so meh.

I started listening to a few of those, and after the Pokemon rap, I decided I'd had enough.

Remind me to come back when I'm in the mood to torture people.

To be fair though, I like It Doesn't Matter. It's a decent song, and suits Sonic quite well.

This is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine, but I've always kinda liked Sonic Boom. I used to hum that one a lot after playing Sonic CD as a kid.

Pretty sure the cover art is an accurate depiction of how Chris sees the rest of the world.

I wish a track list for a " CD for Cole Smithey" was leaked.

I'd forget about it. Those were just random CD covers Chris drew out of boredom. If not, CDfCS was probably just clogged with dookie from the Pokemon Heroes soundtrack.

Nothing wrong with a little old school Sinatra, either, although I wouldn't have picked the "Married...With Children" theme. (I like big band, so sue me)

I'm going to show my age: video game music when I was in high school would've been midi tunes.

Vidya tunes with some 1950s popular songs mixed in... If you're well versed in music psychology you probably could tell a lot about Chris's mentality from this choice.

Anyway, before this becomes too depressing, here's a moar awesome take on vidya soundtracks:
