I'm sure fat acceptance doesn't mean to promote obesity but rather accept fat people as people who want to be healthy as much as possible. However, this obese modeling industry is like this perverse version of the American dream where a morbidly obese woman can be on disability and make money by posting pictures of her obesity online and telling her children that she doesn't want to live in misery by being forced into society's acceptance of what is healthy and whatnot. Poor kids have to take care and deal with an obese mother and it looks like she feeds her dogs junk food too. Last time I checked, Christina owns 7 chihuahuas. Also, you'll never see anything like this in other countries and not even in the UK would one would have the freedom to afford more high calorie and junk food for less than in the UK. After all, they say that there is an American dream for anyone who reaches it be it as something perverse yet legal like this or difficult but "normal" like becoming a business executive. I don't feel sorry for Christina because of the choices she makes and the misery she puts her kids through but at the same time, I do understand the cause. I just don't know what to say anymore because America to me is the only country in the world where one can get paid to eat and become obese to pay one's bills and support their selfish lifestyles when many kids in third world countries are out there starving. I know I came to America to find a career and my meaning of my life here but after watching the video below, I felt like the American dream is vague and perverse where one can live in such unhealthy fantasy and "live" and be "happy". I always thought being happy is getting out there to work and be productive for others and yourself but according to Christina, being happy is accepting your obesity by eating more unhealthy foods to repress your depression. I'm in the search for the real meaning of true luxury which I always saw it as having a home and doing whatever you want whenever you want without any worries. So, what's your thoughts on Christina Paez? Me? A disgusting slob who refuses to change her life and thinks that she's living the American dream when in reality, she's not and is physically trapped and depressed deep down inside. Scott in the video is disgusting as hell for enabling her by making vids of her and stuff. This is sad and I felt like I lost my meaning of what the American dream truly means to me because I'm trying to find out what is true happiness and luxury.
