I have memories of Bojangles as a kid. Too bad they all closed here and the closest one is 2 hours a way in Mississippi. We have a local Fried Chicken place tho

I've been to many a chicken place and I can tell you my mass fav chain location is probably Popeye's. KFC is alright every once in awhile, but Popeye's has better everything overall. I could coat a shoe in their gravy and eat it.
If you can call it a "local chain" (more like southern chain), Chicken Express is also amazing. They don't have a lot of spicy fried chicken though. I've honestly never been to a bad Chicken Express.

The closest Popeyes is 20 miles, the closest Churches is 95 miles so I guess I can try Popeyes next time I'm in the city.
