Now I'm genuinely curious about the psychological makeup of SJWs to where they can't wrap their heads around very obvious jokes like that.
It's an ultra PC belief: anything that jokes about "problematic" topics or makes jokes about someone is clearly being mean spirited and trying to hurt people's feelings. And if you hurt someone's feelings, you're basically Hitler and should be arrested.

The thing that strikes me about guys like Dobson and MovieBob hating on CinemaSins is that wouldn't they like "Everything Wrong With" videos that tackle DCEU movies and the live-action Transformers ![:\](/styles/custom/emotes/svg/chris-confused.svg "Confused :\")
When CS goes after easy targets (like the movies I mentioned), the ones REEEEEing about the channel would likely agree with the sins that are brought up.

He has some valid criticism now and then, then does a 180 and nitpicks the stupidest of shit. Exact same format as Metokur digging out dirt on someone worth the trouble, and then saying "btw diapers are nasty" in the same breath.
He was probably ready for this backlash considering criticism of art is one of the most subjective things in the world and can't be done in jest. Unless you write out half a novel on why aspects of a movie suck, you can translate anything said to "I didn't like that-", which is a horrible format for satire.
Opposite him are the try-hard reviewers who are honestly even more neckbeardy. It's one thing to point and laugh at generic tropes in popular movies, like he just did with Bladerunner, but to sit down and argue the art of cinematography on fucking YouTube of all places, is pretty laughable as well.
