The animation is awful, but it's not too bad for a 16 year old who just learned how to use blender. They at least tried to do things like complex lighting, variable focus and shots from different angles (even though the execution was amateur at best). The thing that bothers me is the possibility that they weren't paid for their work and did it purely out of their parasocial love for the person they believe Dream is He took advantage of their obsessive generosity and went with it.

I dont think animation itself was that bad but the video itself as i mentioned the pills thing and stuff. Also i dont think dream didnt pay the person because dream spends a lot of money on people? It’s a possibility but i think the chances of him paying the animator is higher than him not paying them

There's 11 animators? In what world would you need 11 animators to work on a three minute animation? That sounds like a lot of them, not including modelers, 2D artists, etc. I won't be surprised if the organization of the animation team is messy, since these people are not professional artists.
