Seeing some of the names in the bulletin also left a bad taste in my mouth as many of those users (like Lysandrecafe) were/are the sort that assblasted users like Tsuyeu when Casin0s initially made her "callout," on her for the military themed characters, what a pot calling the kettle black. Given she's already started to silently sell adopts again and is still in contact with Farnul (the minor,) I really don't give it a lot of time before she turns tail again.

Not to mention the stuff with Farnul started happening when she was 14. And Casin0s is still in contact with her, and was in contact with her after going into hiding. While I'm not going to sit here and call Casin0s a pedophile, the behavior that Nico has exhibited towards Farnul (and tried to hide) is in line with the viciously condemned behavior that has made the round in closed species for the last few months.

I, however, do not find it surprising that Lysandrecafe has gone back to asskissing Casin0s. I would keep watch on a couple of the other popular artists... I assure you that they will eventually nab some new Casin0s designs silently and act like nothing ever happened.

Most are/were already acting like nothing happened. Most of the big names that weren't direct mods of Mignyans never said a word about Casin0s or the situation. The field of popular DA artists/CS is an incestual snake hole of petty bitches willing to ruin others for trying to get in and then protecting their own. Lysandrecafe and Pajuxi most likely have some skeletons in the closet. Most of the mignyan mods had shown to have talked in very inappropriate ways with Farnul knowing that she was 14, Crosserabbit and 7zakiel being two examples and all the mods were friends with Casin0s.

Casin0s is back. And I did mention a few pages back that I did regret writing my write-up on her, but the fact that she's escaped from this unscathed has just proven to me that the Dainty / Mignyan greater moderators and users do not care about the minors that are affected by this, but merely their own images and designs.

Something to note about this: Casin0s was never really blacklisted or banned from either the Dainty community, or Mignyans once it was sold. Her co-mod during Mignyans, 7aikei, was fairly active in the Dainty discord and pretending like nothing ever even happened with Casin0s. You were not able to talk about the drama in the server, by the way. Dainties, however, has a strict TOS, that was simply never applied to Casin0s at all due to the fact that she is friends with the creator of Dainties, Pajuxi. Casin0s was actively owning, trading for, and designing dainties under the 0757 account. Despite the fact that she did not have a Deviantart (which is a MUST for participating in dainties and something they tell newbies in the server), she was obtaining more of them.

Under any other circumstances, this would* not be allowed. But it was allowed for Casin0s, as she is popular.

Now. I'm not going to PL myself too hard here, but I recognize some of the users in the reply and one of them sticks out like a sore thumb as being the most hypocritical: Lysandrecafe.

Lysandrecafe creates gaudy adoptables that sell for way more than they should and is known for getting sock accounts to shill bid for adopts. She has a Patreon for exclusive CS and stuff, but I've never really checked how well it does. Anyways. Lysandrecafe has behaved very differently AND aggressively during drama in this sort of vein in the past to get the offenders out of her community, and obviously this is fine and good. However, now that she is viciously defending Casin0s, it makes me think that... again... it was just another way to make herself look good rather than actually solving the problem.

I do recognize the Nostalquic chick, who also has done the same thing in the past and wants to be ~so popular~ in CS, but her art is beyond shitty so it will never happen. And bimbo, who hoardes many casin0s designs.

I understand to those who do not know anything about CS drama that this just looks like a bunch of rambling, but I thought I might point this stuff out.

Unrelated to the main topic, but any proof on the sock account bidding thing with Lysandrecafe? That's pretty shitty if true.

The owner of pillowings has shared some tweets about minors in NSFW art and being seemingly okay with loli/shorta works with little more than just a few people keeping distance.

Atom/NSA’s suspected alternate account (PREZ-O-DENT) was proven to be his after he submitted a dainty. While he draws in a lot of different art styles, the one posted was definitely his, as verified by people who were in servers with him before he got blacklisted from the closed species community.

The dainty in question is here. Something to note is that this is a rip-off of a previous mignyan that Atom owned.

I’m not sure how the dominoes fell afterwards, but ItsJustAshton (EYES on Toyhouse) got blacklisted from both dainties and mignyans for assisting in ban evasion. According to a lot of people surrounding the situation, Ashton had not gotten banned due to the fact that they were the grooming victim in the Sal callout-- and further, revealed to have known Atom for much longer than ever knowing Sal. This evoked pity, and they rightfully felt that banning her from closed species would cause her to be further isolated and abused.

Having lied for Atom several times in the past in order to keep him out of shit, it would only make sense that she would have helped him ban evade from dainties and mignyans. Again, I'm not quite sure how the whole thing played out, but their dainties and mignyans have been completely discontinued or voided.

I've seen it a few times. Usually species will do that to help prevent other people from being scammed into thinking that the design is still part of the original species. Some people will trade designs worth hundreds or buy them for hundreds if not well over a grand for what they think is a Casin0s dainty or mig. However, seeing how aggressive the message is put on the website I wouldn't doubt if it was done to try and stop the two from interacting with the community and try to prevent ban evasion. But it's a big try. Given how Atom seems really desperate to be in these communities they're more than likely cooking up alts and testing out new art styles as we speak to get back in.

Good writeup on the atom situation. I've been following it too and I had no idea the dainties got permanently frozen, and even the designer credits on some of them removed and changed to anonymous, which seems super unusual too. Hopefully atom will actually leave now.

For reference I only post in these threads because I'm involved in the CS community and not really any other topics that come up on kiwifarms- I'm not friends with Lysandrecafe, never interacted with them, but I do purchase adoptables on occasion. I've never bought one from them before, I've considered it though- especially since they started their own CS recently. So if there's a big reason not to support them, it would be good for people to know.

Roughly another month has passed and the drama with Atom has just gotten messier. I thought about uploading some of this stuff as it happened, but also figured that we may see a blow-up of some sort down the line. Boy, was I right. I'll try to do a decent timeline on the situation.

At some point, Sal/Cherryguro's DeviantArt was blanked out completely and this was posted in his DeviantArt biography. Something to note is that Sal had been using this carrd for sometime as an informational hub of sorts for his time in the closed species community, but now it is blanked out and has this this apology. (Archive) Knowing several people who have tried to keep active tabs on Sal after his DFE in order to avoid interacting with him in the future at all costs, there's not much evidence he has any inkling on coming back. Both of his dainties are still registered to the Cherryguro account, with one of them being a sought-after design by the popular artist Koidrop. While it could be possible that Sal is still in the closed species community, he's certainly not talking to the people that he interacted with in the first place. I'm going to take this apology at face value for now until any other evidence surfaces otherwise. You may not agree with me and I can see why.

Now, onto the juicy stuff. At one point, EYES made a bulletin explaining that she had some "never before seen" screenshots regarding the Sal situation, but conveniently they were all deleted somehow. But she definitely wasn't talking to Atom anymore, and that she was unfairly being targeted by the moderators of two popular closed species due to purely speculation.

This, of course, proved to be false. EYES was still talking to Atom. They even share a Toyhouse account together that is on the Mignyan blacklist under both of their usernames-- suckerpunch/bruhicanteven. I think glittery was generous by calling EYES' statement "untrue in some places." As more evidence has come out about her interactions with Atom, it has become very hard in the community for anybody to trust her version of events given regarding Atom or Sal.

This event is far enough out of the memory of most Toyhouse users (as they have brains akin to the 24/7 news cycle) that this merely looked like the Mignyan mods were harassing some user over voided designs. The voided designs were highly sought after and highly valued Casin0s Mignyans, and ones that Atom has had his sight on for awhile. I am usually not into closed species moderators dictating what users can/cannot do with their voided designs, but it seemed like Bride had voided the Mignyans only to trade them to Ash/Atom for the 1k dollar Mignyan referenced to in my last post. EYES is again playing the victim and twisting the situation, but that is nothing new.

Who is Bride, you may ask? Bride, also known as Fish/Fishstick, is was a popular artist who had very sought after designs in closed species, and in adoptable in general. Fishstick also had a major hand in writing both Sal and Atom's callouts. (Proof is private in order to maintain safety, but this has been individually confirmed with several people.) They often claimed to be caring for EYES' safety.

Bride posted this to "come clean" about them continually interacting with Atom after his callout. Trying to "selfishly" trade for a Mignyan that they had been wanting for a long time. Here is the bulletin, and the screenshots associated wit hit.

There's also evidence for me to believe that Atom purposefully set this bait to reel in Fishstick, and they took it. Hook, line, and sinker. He has manipulated a lot of people, but I don't think Fishstick was a victim in this at all. Just someone who was too greedy and had their heart set on an expensive design.

This photo, that Pesticide references being apart of a client that keeps deleted messages, has Fishstick trashing on their friends in order to appeal to Atom/EYES/etc. They know how Atom works and that this stuff would eventually be leaked when Fishstick fell out of line. And yet they do it anyways. I also think Kodario needs to shut the fuck up, as I'm sick of closed species drama happening behind closed doors where it can be easily hush-hushed and swept under the rug.

I'm sure that in a couple of months, Fishstick's "indefinite" hiatus will be over and they will just go down as another victim of Atom's villainous ways. Popular artists can never do anything wrong in this community.

Atom complaining about him and EYES being blacklisted from dainties with an unknown user. My commentary is that Atom/EYES constantly complain about accounts being blacklisted for trading with them, but the accounts are always suspiciously linked to them in some way. (I.E. in the way of a sister or roommate, none of these are randos who just happen to be friends with them.)

Now, in my opinion, Fishstick isn't being sincere in their reply. I'd hate to agree with Atom and EYES and whatever accounts are associated with them, but PESTICIDE does have a point that Fishstick has constantly played both sides when it came to this drama and only felt sorry that they got caught. There's also evidence for me to believe that Atom purposefully set this bait to reel in Fishstick, and they took it. Hook, line, and sinker. He has manipulated a lot of people, but I don't think Fishstick was a victim in this at all. Just someone who was too greedy and had their heart set on an expensive design.

This photo, that Pesticide references being apart of a client that keeps deleted messages, has Fishstick trashing on their friends in order to appeal to Atom/EYES/etc. They know how Atom works and that this stuff would eventually be leaked when Fishstick fell out of line. And yet they do it anyways. I also think Kodario needs to shut the fuck up, as I'm sick of closed species drama happening behind closed doors where it can be easily hush-hushed and swept under the rug.

I'm sure that in a couple of months, Fishstick's "indefinite" hiatus will be over and they will just go down as another victim of Atom's villainous ways. Popular artists can never do anything wrong in this community.

Fishstick's ex-friends have posted a beware on him regarding the Atom situation. There's no coming back from this, I think.

Wow. This got confusing so I made a collage trying to identify all the characters involved with this. I pieced together information from the bulletins and comments. I couldn't find a picture of the character Gat that got traded to Bride since all the profiles are hidden now, so if anyone has the picture saved i'd like to include it.

Anyone in the dainty/mig community should be aware of these characters in case Atom/Eyes pop up with a new alt account eventually and try to trade them to unknowing people again, which is what happened with the person who traded with the suckerpunch account in the most recent drama.

As someone who is a semi-active member of the Stygians group, seeing them mentioned in this thread really made me smile. Not only can I clear up a bit of confusion of what you happen to be seeing, but also plague you with more awful, no-good, cluttered to Hell and back designs that happen to populate the species.

Overall, though, the community is extremely tame, and the owner (Zoomutt) is deeply invested in making it a fun and engaging experience for everyone. One of the biggest perks to the group is that obtaining characters is completely free, so long as you (or someone else, through commission) put in a modest amount of effort. Tiered MYOs can be purchased in the Patreon shop for the modest price of $25 for an uncommon MYO (limited to 2, grants access to non-restricted uncommon subspecies) and $30 for a rare MYO (limited to 1, grants access to non-restricted rare subspecies). Other game items can be purchased for a similar price, and the Patreon reward system grants additional prizes on top of monthly rewards for lifetime milestones. Accumulating in-game currency, potions, etc. ranges in difficulty depending on your playstyle, but there are always users looking to trade and offer their creative services for the right price.

If I had to give it a rating, it would be a solid 7/10. The way that some of the events have been handled and the prize distribution is a bit wonky, and it can turn into a currency sink every now and again during mini-events, but the beauty of ARPGs is that you simply don't have to participate. It also has its fair share of auction whales, and plenty of staffmembers have overly expensive designs that they do nothing with, though that's to be expected from any closed species. Probably the worst thing is that there have been rumors that staffmembers get a cut of all auction sales, but I cannot confirm nor deny this, so make of that what you will.

according to the one who made the original Stygian post, it's either a dog or deer.

Stygians are both, and this fact is poked fun at quite a lot because most of its more prominent members are from the era of subeta and neopets. They are deer-based creatures with canine heads, but there are several subspecies that change the general proportions/base traits/etc. Highlights include:

Shameless Animal Crossing rip-off. There were a handful of Animal Crossing-based rewards given out during a completely unrelated event due to New Horizons launching around the same time, which upset a lot of users. One of the rewards was so bad that the owner had to create two new varieties of items to fix it, and even then it keeps causing them problems regularly.

I have seen several of these things, and they very rarely turn out to be a nice, well-balanced design. I'm sure something could be done with it.

It's a cat, but also not really. This basially says, "Felines have a canine skull, not a cat one!" Staff has had to clarify this multiple times in the past, because people rightfully get confused.

It's Cats, the musical. From the supspecies information: "Page Stygian have human shaped skulls/faces, but they still have a thin coating of fur on their face. While this fur can be any color, it should not appear to be missing or flesh-like."

Oops! All bones! Trait allowances (AKA how much you're allowed to add on top of the basic design) is extremely restricted for this subspecies. It's literally just bones...

Take a jellyfish and make it worse, but also remove all of the traits that make it a jellyfish. At least a lot of the traits for subspecies are completely optional...

The proportion is a pure mess and the design is just too busy. This is more akin to something Zoomutt made for themselves than to sell

The artist responsible for this design is not actually Zoomutt, but Waschmittelpulver — Zoo simply hosts a myriad of guest designs on her main page in lieu of using the dA group. This isn't to say that Zoo doesn't have her fair share of overdesigned characters, but a handy feature of Stygians is that all characters come with a free "avatar form" (either a human or animal that can be used to represent the character in art and writing)... unless you happen to purchase a pre-made one, in the case of the ugly lion man (credited to artist Malusdraco).

They tend to be pretty lenient with avatar forms, so long as the color palette and general theme is the same. This is how so many overdesigned characters are made usable: by literally not using them at all.

Jesus the colour palette on most of them. A smear of rainbows and markings that mash together incoherently to produce a horror-show.

No sane artist is gonna touch these.

Waschmittelpulver is definitely a "designer" Stygian artist, and their designs are considered some of the most valuable in the group. I think they may be even more valuable than the owner's designs, given their complexity and general... look. Enjoy some more of their designs, in no particular order:
