I do believe I missed something - when and why did Chris get new dogs? Does he confine these to a pen as well? Is there any available information at all, besides what little is on the cwcki?

The dogs could have helped Borb and Chris get in better shape physically if they'd walk them around the neighborhood. They're not too busy to do it, just too lazy. I've watched acquaintances over feed a dog before, it leads to vet visits and permanent damage to the dog's health. Borb just deserves to be alone, she wrecks everything she attempts to raise.
I feel really bad for them. At least with Patti, she looked to be in reasonable shape in the pictures Chris provided. I think he said something about taking her for walks as well and there was one pic of him out and about in his neighborhood with Pat, and he was reasonably average-sized back then and Patti also looked like she was in all right condition.
Yeah, Chris and Barb don't care about the dogs' welfare. To them, the dogs are just animate toys, there to amuse the two humans.

No, they roam the house as best they can. Bob must've been the one who said that Patti had to have the pen and not be allowed inside, unless it was Barb and she changed her mind about that with the new dogs. They're unlikely to be house trained and let outside often enough, so Chris is slipping in dog shit now.ChristmasDuck said:

I have a weakness for dogs and just thinking about what those poor things live in make me rage. I have an elven and half golden retriever, the love of my life since I got him when I was eight, and am expecting my male cocker spanial puppy to be born soon (I sound like an expextant mother talking about him and the breeder actually gave us ultrasound pictures).
Beagles crave constant exercise and a healthy diet. Ill bet Barb just buys them knock off brand can and dry food and they just are stuck sleeping all day in the hoard. Poor babies. I would gladly whip Chris with a cattle prod and force him to walk the poor things and take them to a dogpark at least so they can run.

Cheap dog food is the least worst thing in their diet based on what we've been told. Apparently they get a lot of table scraps.
