Welcome to CocaineKitties! This group was branched off of popular Facebook page Cats on Cocaine. This page was originally a nice and refreshing take on the normal Facebook pages about cats, since it was less weird old ladies running Facebook pages about their cats and more people who could have a sense of humor about stupid things cats do and etc. The page became very popular, and in wanting to communicate with their fans, the admins at Cats on Cocaine decided to make a group for their likers to chit chat.
As you can see, since I'm posting this thread, this idea turned out to be horrible.
The rules were not bad at all, and the admins try to keep the page together, but having this many cat lovers in a group causes a lot of drama since people all have different ways to deal with cats, and a lot of the members would easily jump down one another's throat over the smallest things. While threads on the group that have this happen usually get culled, some fall through the cracks.
Notable members are;
David J Faulkner, an admin of the group and the most well known. He's OK but seems like he's more suited to shit posting than anything, in my opinion.
Eli So Wright, a regular poster who is almost hippie-ish and overly defensive on a lot of things. Eli has been mentioned already in a prior screen shot above.
Kayla Waffle Williams, she's a more recent person that I've noted. She's borderline Tumblr-esque and makes up excuses whenever she posts something stupid or gets mad at something stupid. For example, she got mad about trolls earlier and said she only acted the way she did because she got her wisdom teeth took out. She is also in a prior screen shot.
Sadly, a lot of the more interesting posts and threads in the group got nuked so I can't post screenshots, but I'd like to do a synopsis of some of the bigger events.
Titties and Kitties 2016: Lots of female users posted pictures of themselves naked with their cats in an attempt to get attention and etc from people from the page. This brought out VERY thirsty and weird people. Some of the men of the group retaliated but posting pictures of cats covering their dicks. It was stupid and as far as I can tell, threads and pictures have been nuked.
Any thread where people post about their cats being pregnant or having kittens: A lot of members will attack the post, saying that these people who let their cats get pregnant are awful and that they need to spay and neuter their pets asap and they should be ashamed. While yes, you should spay and neuter your pets, there is no reason for people to chimp out about it. These threads are often nuked.
A thread where a guy said he captured a feral and relocated it to a shelter: People also flipped out on this, saying the guy should've let the cat just live on the street, even though said cat was much closer to kitten age. Guy who started thread made it clear that the cat was sent to a no-kill shelter, but people still bitched and moaned how most likely the cat would die because no one ever reads in this group. Which, some background knowledge, if no-kills can't rehabilitate a cat to be social with others, they ship it off to a feral community of cats that are typically located on farms. No, that's not a way of saying Fluffy died, it's a real thing. I can't locate this thread.
