After 9/11, Silverstein took the insurance company to court, claiming he should be paid double because there were 2 attacks. He won, and was awarded $4,550,000,000.

It's not a personal coincidence but one of my favourite coincidences is how American syndicated newspaper comic Dennis the Menace, created by Hank Ketcham, and British weekly Beano comic magazine's Dennis the Menace, created by David Law, were both able to continue using the same title despite being entirely unrelated characters because both characters' comics premiered on the exact same day, March 12th, 1951, making it, beyond reasonable doubt, impossible for one character to have influenced the creation of the other.

Not that the characters are actually that similar since American Dennis is a good-natured kid while British Dennis is malicious (not counting the politically correct modern CGI animated reboot where all traces of his meanness have been eliminated).
