There's exactly one scenario under which I could see a genuinely dysphoric transman having a baby, and that's if the transman's female partner turned out to be totally infertile or a pregnancy would harm her. At that point, I could see someone who hated the very idea of pregnancy and birth sucking it up for the sake of a partner who desperately wanted to have a child that belonged biologically to one of the two of them. It'd probably take some counseling and other supports, but people can really sacrifice huge things about their personal identity and life goals for a partner they love very much.

A lot of places who help you get into low income housing will look at your financial situation and will give more scrutiny if you get a government check and what is it being spent on. Especially because many people who need help don't have the extra cushion of that guaranteed check.

It depends on the airline. I've only gotten mine a good time in advance but I've seen one way tickets as low as $150 if you were willing to take a plane change. But let's be real, she probably did this way last minute and with someone like Delta or American Airlines.
