She could be similar intellectually to ADF?
Like I've said, there is no way she's only getting a tugboat for BPD. You can't get it for just depression or bipolar, I don't think you can for borderline either. There is definitely something more going on, and it's something she's been diagnosed with and isn't talking about.
I really would like to say she's making a change, but I really doubt it'll last long. It's just a matter of waiting for the next breakdown now.
I'm not surprised that the surgeon asked her to lose some weight. I do wonder what'll happen when she gets the surgery and has no more motivation to lose it. Will she gain it back? Maybe she will continue to stick with losing it since she realizes she feels better. Assuming she doesn't think she feels better because losing weight means top surgery.
Which I totally understand; my point however is that what people are holding up as supposed signs of it aren't particularly strong ones.
And you would think after years of no progress being made, they'd take the bloody hint.

Her "I'm getting surgery" post got dozens of supportive replies. Her "I need help recovering" post? One reply from anybody offering help. And it certainly wasn't Terra. But, hey, if any Kiwis feel like helping her "empty her drains" (ugggh), reach out to Colt!
Also, since SpiderTrans and Bi-der Girl were a hit, here is a pic I forgot to upload before. Either SpiderTrans got FTM bottom surgery or they are packing a cuke in their pants.

I mean, either way wouldn't totally surprise me. Getting a double masectomy can't make going back to work easy. Plus Colt will take almost any excuse to slack off.

Laura's been very sheltered. I would imagine this is the most pain she's ever been in.
With as much binding as she'd done on very large breasts, the tissue was probably all kinds of fucked up anyway. It almost seems like the binding encouragement happens so that the women who transition will irrevocably destroy the appearance of their breasts very early on.
Once you've wrecked one of the main feminine features that people of both sexes who like women enjoy, you'll have to live with massive insecurity about your appearance naked, to the point where "top surgery" seems like the only option. There's kind of no going back. It's like if tucking made your dick into a permanently shriveled, wrinkled tube that had the aesthetic appeal of a wet sock and wouldn't fit into normal underwear.
Women who already felt like their breasts were difficult to accept aren't likely to think they're any better when they're shriveled and deformed. Even the parents and loved ones who would have agonized over a girl destroying healthy, normal breasts, upon seeing their child's post-binding breasts, might think it was kinder to just have them removed.
The point of binding seems to be deforming the breasts so badly that surgery seems like the only viable correction. What a boon to plastic surgeons, and what a cruelty to young women.

I know here in Canada you have to be at a healthy weight AND mentally stable. Of which Clit is neither.
They shouldn't, and if she was having a major procedure done on her breasts solely for cosmetic reasons, they wouldn't. I used to think nobody would do her top surgery because she's so fat she's prone to complications, but it turns out I was wrong.
That's because if you claim you're trans, all established ideas about medical ethics and "best practices" cease to matter; only having guaranteed funding in place for your surgery does. That's how Spudboy Phil got his manhole installed, despite being not only obese, but obviously too rētarded and mentally ill to care for basic hygiene, much less keep a permanent wound properly dilated and free from infection. The state of Oregon was willing to pay for it, so the surgeon was willing to do it. End of story.
And Colt, despite her obesity, personality disorder, and low ability to function as an adult, is no different. The money to do the procedure became available, so it's going to happen.
That the surgeon had her lose a token amount of weight is, IMO, less about ensuring a good, surgical result, than it is about proving she has some minimal level of competency at following directions and being medically compliant, and thus is somewhat less likely to develop the kind of messy post-op complications that would require revision--or kill her.

I don’t know if I buy it, she wouldn’t be standing less than a day after such a painful procedure those drains look fake too.
I was standing and doing light walking the day after major back surgery...so no they want you up and walking in general after some surgeries
I have to give her credit for losing the weight to qualify for the surgery and also following doctors orders and being active post surgery. Many cows on here would screech “FATPHOBIA” for being told they need to lose weight so they don’t die under anesthesia and/or would be taking pity photos of them laying on the bed when they should be up and mobile. Is Colt getting better?
