It takes an hour to get there on public transit even if he starts out in a very easy part of Fair Oaks to commute from, not some tucked-away subdivision.

Oh, and good god, the fucking food prices. Laura's going to freak the fuck out at what it costs to eat at a little diner in Sacramento versus Chicago. Probably a 50% difference. Sacramento's full of "farm to fork" restaurants with good labor policies that liberals love to frequent, it'll be amazing to watch Laura beg for money so she can have some brioche with goat cheese and lavender honey or whatever idiotic overpriced shit she gets addicted to there.

I'm new to the farms, I've mostly been lurking but had a huge laugh when I saw this thread. Colt used to be a personal lolcow for me a long time ago when I had a tumblr account (yes I know). Basically he would shit up any LGBT tag he could get his hands on with his selfies and fake stories. Unfortunately, Colt had a habit of deleting/changing his username every 3 days so it was hard to keep archives of all the bullshit he posted. I decided to look up some old blogs I used to follow, most have been deactivated but I did manage to find a few posts. Enjoy some classic Colt content to celebrate the California saga.

I believe the story here was that he was raped and had no idea he was pregnant until six months in. The original plan was he was going to give it up for adoption to his roommates. After saying he was going to give it away, suddenly his roommates became "super toxic" and that he couldn't trust them so he decided to just scramble the baby instead.

Less than a week after his "traumatic" abortion he is suddenly on testosterone gel and growing facial hair. Colton had a habit of making posts everyday that went back and forth between "I'm getting testosterone tomorrow" to "The transphobic doctors changed their minds and won't let me have testosterone". Less than that. As evidenced above, Colt needs--needs--a constant stream of attention and affirmation. At the first sign of losing it, she'll chimp out. Three days tops. One of her lesbian roommates will pay attention to something else, and Colt will see it as the first sign of toxic transphobia and panic will ensue.

She's so close to getting it. Laura mentions validation repeatedly as something she needs, but it still doesn't click that in real life the only validation you get is from yourself. You can't demand other people play along with your fantasies just to keep you happy, but that's exactly the kind of 'validation' that Laura wants. As if the world should applaud her every time she leaves her apartment.

That's why she loves youth services so much. Precious little snowflakes who are young glbtqiacnnfbiwtf are often vulnerable and need encouragement and support. They don't have the resources or contacts to get out of dangerous situations such as abusive home lives etc. Sometimes just affirming to a young person in these situations that yes, it's fine to be trans/gay/bisexual even if their caregivers say otherwise can be a real lifeline. Laura just doesn't want to move past that into the next step along - independence. Hitting 18, getting a job, getting your own place away from needing to rely on others to provide everything guarantees your security, and knowing you can support yourself is the best validation there is. Laura just wants to stay a child, who only knows she's a good girl if mummy says so.

Edit: Is that ultrasound photo she posted supposed to show a 6 month pregnancy? Cos all I see is a bean about a couple of centimetres long clinging to the side of her womb (black bit in the centre) - which would make her about 12 weeks pregnant.
