So, after noticing that Chris's relationship status had changed on his Facebook page, I decided to check and see if he's sent Renee a text. He had.

I expect that now Catherine is out of the picture, he'll continue to text Renee, despite her not responding, which is really sad.

It's always interesting to see how Chris can seemingly at random choose a woman to cling to. This echoes what happened with the Ivy saga in that she didn't go out of her way to garner Chris' interest, rather he saw something in her that "clicked". Renee hasn't responded to his texts in, what, weeks now? And yet something makes him keep coming back.

I'd hate to see that. Simply put, intelligent people sometimes do stupid shit in relationships. A man as... profoundly troubled as Chris can only fail spectacularly. Honestly, Chris is better off staying locked up in his room as much as possible. Going out into the real world ends badly for him and the people with whom he interacts.

I am not surprised this happened considering how we have seen it devolve before our eyes. However, Chris needs to realize that his own actions is what drove Catherine away but he is not going to learn. Renee not responding to him at all should be a red flag but he might not see it the way we are, he will see Renee as the next booty call.

He understands why Catie broke up with him. She may or may not have had much exposure to sexual images as he's had, so the idea of "tribbing" (which was the act he drew in the commission for Flufflehugs) as part of outtercourse (versus intercourse) was a surprise to her.
