Speaks a lot to digi that he views weebs this way, fuck these are the guys who put a roof over his head. It's clear projection on Digis part he's awkward, hadn't developed a charisma really till joining a fandom, has deeper psychological issues, is now trans with a guy, is looking for a sense of community in ygg and Digi has always cared about animation as a film medium. I don't think Digi is talking about Weebs but rather himself and is projecting his own faults onto the group.

I don’t think Digi really ever cared about any of his hobbies. He’s just incredibly insecure and depressed. Unlike most losers who adopt “fandoms” for acceptance, however, digi utilizes niche hobbies to feel superior by adopting authoritative tones (pony/anime “analysis”) so he can feel above the rest of the group. When others stop caring about him, he drops the fandom.

Yeah I haven't watched much of his content but most of it just seems like an excuse to talk about himself. I would even say that one of his actual skills is buttering up egomaniacs as it seemed like he wormed his way into The Dick Show circle by constantly talking about Dick and giving Dick excuses to talk about himself.
That whole personality chart thing was clearly just a way to talk up Dax's friends and talk down his enemies. Dick loved it though.

I think it's because he's an entitled faggot who always had mommy and daddy to help him wipe his dick, never any actual responsibility. Best way to have avoided his current fate would have been to never see game grumps and just keep working at target, marry and have a kid, then maybe find youtube more naturally and do it as a passionate hobby instead of AUTISM CONTENT MACHINE and get burned out (literally, on drugs). Ah well, c'est la vie.
It was really just the drugs; that, and dating desperate sluts that solely chase any vulnerable e-celeb who has never found or dated girls offline before. The latter were mental cases that made him a mental case, particularly the last one (May), via both feeding him a heavy amount of drugs and encouraging him to troon out.

For a guy with almost no education, being paid thousands of dollars a month to watch anime and make a couple videos out of it would have been an easy way to build a "career" as an authority figure on the opinion of anime.
But Digi was too lazy to even keep that up. What he really wants is to get high and have people pay him for the nonsense 'wisdom' that comes out of his mouth. He probably thought that since he fell into his Youtube success, he can become just as successful elsewhere rather than he got SUPER lucky. Rapping is another get rich quick from his own bullshit scheme that he'll eventually grow bored of but right now he's convinced himself of all the 'freedom' he has (doesn't have to worry about cleaning a room if he has no room to live in!) because he's broke and homeless. He thinks the money is going to eventually roll in and it won't but he's too happy about not having to pay the IRS (because he's broke) to understand what a fucked up situation for a man in this 30's to be in.
