Literally no one. It doesn't exist. No one has fucking read that book. It's a weird ass shitty novel from a time period where all the literature coming out was fucking garbage. The idea that it has any cultural significance whatsoever is an absolute meme.
It's a narrative entirely invented for content creators to lash out against. There may be one or two people who misread the novel as being victorian era acceptable romance but there's also people who probably thought the book was based off pornographic Skyrim mods. Point being shit gets retarded at the outliers.
Honestly, I think maybe .01% of the relevant population has even read the book, most of which were expected like, fucked up degeneracy and got bored. Even content creators like Dankula whose ability to read genuinely surprised me, was able to point out that the main character was extremely unlikable and creepy and in no way romantic.
I don't think these people actually read the fucking book anyway beyond enough to shit out a review. Just like how all those niche, edgy, obscure game reviewers (cough, Szeeth) will talk for 40 minutes about a game, and eventually they do one you genuinely enjoy and it suddenly clicks that they didn't fucking play half of it.

Nick worshipped this guy about 8-10 years ago for his authorship of the fedora tippers Bible known as 'The God Delusion'. I think he's totally mentally blocked out almost everything about his life pre-transition. Dawkins has broken the most sacred law of twitter trannies by publicly supporting any sensible and reasonable stance on an issue to do with trannies and so he is now 'the enemy'.

Funniest part about Dawkins is that he said in some interview somewhere how he regrets his crusade against Christianity because it allowed other ideologies which are much worse to enter the mainstream. I know he included Islam in that list, but I wonder if he includes troonerism in it too nowadays.

It's people who haven't read the book or people who read the book and missed the point.
Humbert Humbert is a sexual predator. He lies. He warps things to make himself seem sympathetic and presents the book as a love story and ultimately a betrayal, where a heartless girl toys with his heart - because she's a sexually voracious nymphet - and then discards him for a different man, leaving him broken and pining for her, and ultimately driving him to murder that man who seduced her and tried to exploit her into starring in porn, and he ends up bereft and mourning for her when she later dies in childbirth.
There's a scene earlier on in the book where Lolita is seductively eating an apple. He playfully grabs the apple off of her, and she climbs onto him, deliberately writhing her body on him while trying to get the apple back, ultimately bringing him to orgasm - after which she coquettishly skips off as if it was nothing at all. Except if you're paying attention, that's how Humbert Humbert related it, and what you realise is this isn't Lolita, it's a 12 year old girl called Dolores who maybe had a girlish crush on the handsome lodger, but certainly wasn't seducing him or displaying nymphet sexual energy - she was just climbing on an adult who had grabbed her apple because she was a little girl who was playing, and had no idea that he was a pervert who was deriving sexual pleasure from it (because she didn't even know what sex was). It's a tale of an evil man who isolates a young girl, kidnaps and drugs her, repeatedly rapes her, and then she ends up getting sex trafficked. The portrayal of her mother as a mega bitch is based purely on Humbert Humbert's perception (it's clear from her intent to expose him that she did love her daughter) and even his Freudian excuse for the way he is just means he's a paedophile who's trying to manipulate you into feeling sympathy from it.
If your takeaway from that book is that it's a love story, it means you're a naieve idiot who's easily manipulated by a predatory man. In this context that makes sense, because there's a lot of handmaidens who refuse to question if maybe that prisoner who "came out" as trans is maybe just a sexual predator lying so he can get moved to a women's prison and rape them. (The book is actually a good insight into paedophiles, who mostly don't think the way they destroy children's lives is actually bad and it's just that society has a problem with it. There's sadists who want children to suffer but lots of paedophiles rationalise what they do as "that child wanted it", "it's actually helping the kid", "love is love" etc. Kinda like how Chris privately admitted that he was raping Barb to Bella, framing it as helping her and being a loving thing to do, while knowing to cover his tracks publicly. I've no idea why it's Contra's favourite book though. I suspect Contra just says Lolita for that question in order to shock.

I have a friend who also thinks Lolita is their favorite book but its because its textbook unreliable narrator. The point is that you're almost meant to be convinced of Humbert's view because he's intelligent and well spoken, but realize that it's all just a cope, and he's trying to convince himself as much as the reader that what he's doing is okay when deep down, he too knows its wrong. It's actually a really bad book to pick to adapt into a film because it's harder to achieve unreliable narrator in a visual 3rd person medium.
But yeah no one who isn't a nonce themselves has read Lolita and considers it a romance, they consider it a character study about a depraved pervert who is trying to rationalize his own pathology

The thing about women welcoming potential predators into their washrooms is also one of the things that puzzles me about this clown world shit we're in. OMG, that quote in this tweet was literally the same quote he had at the top of his Nykytyne2 account back in the day:

I don't get how people don't understand Contrapoints' appeal. They're flashy, colourful videos on easily digestible topics that make you feel like a little contrapoints yourself. Not to mention the jokes and skits, which for a specific sense of humor are quite entertaining. It's the same as any other breadtuber in that regard.
