The only problem with tattooed makeup is that your face changes as you age or gain weight, lose weight, etc. It's not enough for us to really notice but millimeters can make a difference. Maybe it's not as bad with liner and brows-that can be covered up anyway. But we've all seen lips that were done that look wrong. That doesn't mean it was always wrong, just that the person changed. Lips especially seem to. Hange, probably because of all the talking we do.

You're right. I'd avoid lips all together, personally, only because they do change and the lip line can feather a bit as you age. The stuff where you have hair (eyebrows, eyelashes) give you that extra bit of cushion so if/as things change a bit as you the hair hides it. Subtle filler for eyeliner (very close or in lash line) and in the brows seems a safe bet.

I love most non extreme body mods. I have many tattoos and plan to get more, I also one surface piercing on my face however like someone mentioned earlier - I like to still look feminine with my mods so I keep my hair long and natural. I think coloured hair is nice when done well, but I don't like to do too much at once. If you like to do it all at once though, do you.

In terms of cosmetic surgery, I would get a tummy tuck and loose skin removed from my arms (I have it from losing a lot of weight) and a nose job, nothing else really though.

Age changes things and what you thought was reasonable at 22 is embarrassing at 42. Unfortunately, you are older for much more of your life than young. A lot of the stuff like the corset piercings and whatnot are only temporary and rarely kept in for more than a week or so since you can't really 'keep' piercings in those kind of areas for too long without issue (since they're just piercings across the surface of the skin and not actually 'through' a part of the body like a nose / tongue / ear piercing etc).

However, the possibility of something going wrong (having the eyebrows look unbalanced from the front; having one thicker than the other; having one longer than the other, and so on) is enough to scare me away from ever considering it.
