Also how do you guys feel about tattoos? I don't even think they are considered controversial at this point but how do you people feel about it? Are you worried that any controversial cosmetics might lower your chances of employment or damage your career?

This was posted a while ago, but any visible tattoos at all in my profession are pretty much a death sentence for getting hired or keeping a job. Depending on what I wear into work, I have to use really heavy concealer. A lot of employers don't find tattoos controversial anymore, but there are still a few traditional professions that I don't see it changing in unless you go to one of the extremely few and questionable if they're going to stay afloat"progressive alternative" places in the business.

The more interesting BM I've wanted to do to myself is to replace my two front canines with steel tipped fangs. Still usable, and the steel tips would be surgical metal so it wouldn't rust and rot in my mouth.

Omg that is pretty cool, hadn't I lived in a rather judgemental place and been a bit braver I would get something like this. Tusks on humans/humanoids (Characters, orcs, Anthros, irl ect) is something I am fan of.

If the rejection rate and potential for inconvenience weren't so high I'd be totally down for magnetic implants. It just seems like a subtle superpower that could be a lot of fun.

I have a lot of ink and used to want a split tongue, but I'm glad I didn't go for it when I had the chance. All of my tattoos can be easily hidden by dressing like a nice lady, but you can't really hide the speech alteration from fucking up your mouth muscle. Fangs are still pretty tight, though. When I eventually have to get implants or dentures I'm going to make sure I have some pointy gnashers.

As far as mainstream surgeries go mommy lifts are sounding more and more realistic by the year. I used to think most vanity surgeries were stupid and a waste of money, but the older I get the more appealing hiking up the post-baby titties and keeping that roundness instead of letting nature do her thing is. The jury is still out on pussy prettification, like you do you but unless I have a psychotic break and start doing granny porn in twenty or thirty years I think I'll be keeping my shit perfectly average.

I can place myself with the others who were surprised by the direction this thread has taken.

For those who want to look like elves and orcs that's a dumb idea. The elves will mock you for being under 200 years and not smelling right, they can spot a fake from a mile off. Then orcs will break your spine just to see if you have the strength your psuedo tusks say you have, which you don't.

I can't wait to see us go full cyberpunk though, I'm just waiting for the first guy to voluntarily remove an arm or a leg for a robotic upgrade and then requiring a new set of Olympics for the augmented. It's gonna get rediculous.

I have five tattoos but, if I had my druthers now, I'd get the two on either arm removed (except the shoulders, those are cute and can stay). Just hate looking skanky in sleeveless attire, as one of the tats is a celtic braid going all the way around my upper arm. If I won the lottery I'd definitely do it.

In re: piercings, I had my inner labia pierced (they are kinda long and I thought it would be fun to wear a sundress with no panties and have a little bell on a shepherd's hook as my jewelry), and my nipples (had both done at one appointment, ouchie!) and belly button too. All are out now, but I can still get jewelry in the labia and one nipple, I just don't anymore (being older took my edge off, I don't regret doing them though).

Also when I had my piercings in, they would get caught up in all the piercings of my then-boyfriend who had an amperlang (sp?), PA, and nipple rings. Decoupling after sex became an awkward affair at times.

edit: I've read this whole short thread and believe me, TMI is the least of my worries considering what's already been discussed lol

OK but how much did it hurt? I also have visible inner labia and they are very sensitive.

This thread is amazing and should be revived:

Eyeball tattoos, why:

And bald spot tattoos: too good to be true?

I feel like this baldy tattoo thing is something that looks good in pictures and bad IRL.

Edit: pics did post first time.

There's some misconceptions about make up tattoos in this thread. unless you go to a complete back alley abortion of a tattoo artist, they use different ink than what is used for regular tattoos. you're thinking of old Mexican ladies with regular black ink eyebrows and lip liners. make up tattoo ink is lighter, softer and bigger molecules. it fades after a few years. it's not actually permanent in the forever sense.

source, had tattoo eyebrows 15 years ago. and back to no tattoo eyebrows 9 years ago. Likely will do it again.

Ayy, i'm hopefully booking in some eyeliner semi permanent makeup soon.
I'm just one of those people that looks 120% better with a thin black line above the eye and i'm getting sick of putting it on. I'm fine without mascara and tint my brows when I want them to look nice, but damn do I crave that black line.
Only on the top eyelid of course, the bottom looks too weird in all the photos ive seen

Holy shit late reply but to add on this, since I've mentioned my time working in the death industry, there are a LOT of places tattoos won't fly like Yaks said, especially in that profession. I got flack for it for having dyed hair (it was natural black, not danger hair), and in that place even the women who worked were given grief for say having 2 piercings in one ear.

Most places are way more lax nowadays, but a lot of jobs like mine or just "old school" are still very conservative in that sense.

I know we have a bad plastic surgery thread, but does anyone have an experience in having a rhinoplasty?

Quarantine is stopping me from scheduling an IRL consultation but I'm thinking about getting it done, subtly. I have a bulbous tip and a bump on the bridge, so I'm just looking to eliminate that. I'm not sure if I have to bring in examples to the surgeon or not. I wouldn't mind a smaller nose in general TBH because I have large eyes and it would draw more attention to them.

Do they use the same sort of ink for bald filling tats?

Asking for a friend, of course. Not slowly losing my hair here at all. Yup.
