1. The Iran diplomatic crisis fizzles out but corona causes a pandemic (the actual time line), or you can hit the reset button and
2. Coronavirus is stamped out at 100 cases early on in China because the whistle blowers were taken seriously, but the Iran crisis escalates to the point where it turns into a total war involving most of the world's major powers, with nuclear weapons used

I have to say corona-chan is more fascinating since it’s a slow burn. After seeing too many pandemic documentaries it’s interesting seeing how this all plays out and the aftermath.

The thing with a pandemic is, when you overreact, you won't as easily know what you averted, vs youll know if you underreact. This may just be the first time governments are actually doing something about a disease, when in 1918 and the bubonic plagues they had no recourse bu to let it happen.
