In 2011 as we all know Chris resurfaced, but only briefly, because October brought two events, one real close to the next. Chris' father passed away because of his deteriorating health, and the bug bites he had certainly didn't help. After a few weeks of quiet following the Internet Lumberjack's death, Chris went where he shouldn't be and and got himself in an assload of trouble and even though it didn't end badly thanks to the mercy of the very man he held and still probably holds a grudge against, It was still a stressful experience, as it would be with any person with criminal charges hanging over their head. Regardless of Chris and Bob;s relationship, the loss of close family member you've known all your life is a major change. And whether you've had an encounter with the jerkops or not, I think we can all agree that getting busted could ruin anyone's day.
Besides facebook posts and a couple of videos, his internet presence is declining more and more. Chris has isolated himself, and made himself scarce in the past years.
There's no doubt that he's paranoid and decided to pussy off the internet. Still there was hope on my part, until a couple of months ago.....
The fire of of 14 Branchland Ct was another destructive blow to OPL Chances are, that most if not all of chris's stuff was likely melted and/or reduced to ashes. The loss of one's home and property is no small loss, obviously. This was a major turning point.
Now as for the future, I'm not here to say wheter Chris will end up in a group home when Barb passes, or whether the two will be homeless or or whether Chris will live out the rest of his life on the streets, behind bars, or in a padded room where he incoherently babbles and holds conversations with Sonichu, or outright snaps, harming himself or others, or whether he pulls a complete 180.
The only change Chris has made is his paranoia, and his ever-decreasing internet presence... And the saga of Chris's internet presence will likely end with a whimper. If this current trend of less and less information continues, it will be a runaway process until he is eventually forgotten. He has cowered away from even the internet, afraid to speak with anyone, afraid to stand up to so called trolls, and no longer has the spine to face those who criticize him. Typical Chris What a disappointment.
Or maybe he's depressed.... or lacks the means to communicate on the net. (which I really doubt.)
OR.... He's actually beginning to wise up (*cough* Bullshit! *cough*)
But wait a second! There is also a possibility that months of no internet contact will eventually end this relative silence and he could make a big comeback. It seems h to believe he won't be coming back, because he's done it before. If this whole fire issue turns out all right, we may one day see him on Youtube... Again. This is also made possible, because of his ego, as well as his resistance to change.
And while that's what a lot of us want to see, I still believe that it is more likely that Chris will eventually disappear from the internet rather than make a comeback, and eventually even the people here will move on and forget about him altogether, sad as that sounds, from my perspective , it seems to be the more realistic of the two outcomes. The recent past hasn't yielded that much activity.
The purpose of this threat is not prediction of the future of Chris, or those around him, but whether or not this is the end of the Chris-chan saga altogether
But I'd really like to know from members both old and new, which of the two outcomes seems more likely, as far as what you've observed? Please, discuss.
