All right, I went back and re-read it.

It looks like Chris had been sentenced to 30 days confinement last year, but that sentence was suspended depending on whether or not he upheld the terms of his probation. It looks like the case has been disposed, Chris paid a fine, and that there are no further probationary measures or restrictions placed on his license.

He got off light if you ask me. From his recent behavior and rants on Facebook it's apparent that he's learned absolutely NOTHING from this. In all seriousness, 30 days in jail would probably have made more of an impression and ultimately would have done him more good. He's in dire need of a wake up call.

OPL has never failed us when it came to failing.
He will eventually snap, drive over to Da Gaem Place and make a trespassing ass of himself, and he'll be back in the dock.
This time with no Rob Bell to hold his Autistic Adult Child hand and no excuse anymore.

I got excited when I saw the 30 days in jail, what a pity he's getting off with a small fine. Here, you get fined more for just blowing through a red light.

He will never, ever learn until he is held accountable. Even then it's doubtful that he'll learn, but he needed jail time to have any chance of adjusting his attitude. Ironically, Michael Snyder's plea for leniency might well have been the difference between Chris going to jail and learning some hard lessons and Chris ranting forever more about that DANG DIRTY JEW.

I'm with Pikonic. 30 days would be just long enough to make him even more spiteful of the system, because he'd have gone that long without his beloved vidya and McDonald's. And on top of that, he'd be guaranteed to lose a month of the tugboat. If he's ever going to really pay attention to the consequences of his actions, he needs at least a few months behind bars. Sure, when he got out he'd either have to finally get a job or figure out with Barb how to reapply for the Social Security payments, but maybe the time away from his mother and the filth would make him smarten up.

This should be Chris's time to let out a sigh of relief. But really all it's done to his addled mind is remind him of what he believes was a false arrest and attack by Michael Snyder on his once-good-now-greater-than-ten-high-functioning-spanish-nickname-Ricardo. And dollars to donuts says Chris is now emboldened with his Court-Given Freedoms to say FUCK YOU to the businesses of northern Virginia, and get into the kind of idiotic sublime trouble that only a mental defective with childish revenge fantasies and a faulty understanding of the relationship of cause to effect can.
