Who's "patient zero" when it comes to starting these bullshit myths and spinning yarns about how they uncovered a secret government conspiracy and decided that despite being powerful enough to be "in" on said government conspiracies, their only vector to "expose" this shit is Whatsapp and Facebook.

Twitter is adding (!) Get the facts about COVID-19 to any tweet claiming 5G cell towers cause people to get sick. There are hundreds of tweets with this warning (!) attached.
It links to a newsfeed saying 5G debunking these claims.
I guess they got tired of banning accounts and decided to imbed this link into every offending tweet instead.

Supposedly there was this one quack that made a video explaining how viruses were actually caused by some sort of bodily disturbance from radiation, and he therefore attributed the 5G to that.
People who don't believe in COVID and loudly announce how they aren't going to take medical safety precautions subsequently reaping the effects of their own decisions and acting confused is exactly as funny as Lovequest-era Chris's bafflement that his behavior was causing women to find him creepy and off-putting.
Characterizing someone who argues that "covfefe" was a secret code seeded three years ago about how Trump was going to solve the evil 5G radiation that is causing people to be unable to breathe as "caring about freedom" is prima faecie ludicrous. I care about freedom; I also care about public health, and believe steps like social distancing and wearing a face mask are reasonable precautions, given how infectious this disease is, until we develop a vaccination or solid treatment plan. People who aggressively assert that we should pretend like this disease doesn't exist are actively harming their local communities, especially poorer regions.
