Sometimes you gotta wonder what became of some of the lolcows of yesteryear.

Like DBoyWheeler, one of the biggest sonic lolcows in the pre-OPL internet. I got this idea for a thread because I got curious over RHJunior after reading old CYD articles on Vivsector and I looked up his webomics, all of them left at 2007.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't want this to be a thread where we look old cows up and w.een at them, I just figured it'd fun to reminisce and shit.

I do want to know what happened to Gonterman. Dude was amazing back in the day

There was Dennis "Quozl" Fox, the proto-furry who (among a group of other proto-furries) found the personal contact information of the voice actress of Babs Bunny on "Tiny Toon Adventures". They then proceeded to spam her mail-box with letters describing their sexual fantasies of the character and demands to see Babs naked to such an extent that the voice actress and other team members no longer were comfortable making the show and cancelled it.

Gonterman, so far as I'm aware, is still around in some capacity: He's still on DeviantArt -though he hasn't uploaded anything in almost a year now-, and had a failed Kickstarter a while back. (Although to say "failed"... might be putting it a little too generously) Don't think he's on Tumblr or Twitter, though. I didn't see anything at first glance.

For those wondering about him, there's an entire webpage that chronicled some of his material that's still up. Sadly, it doesn't have a lot of his stuff post-NiTRO, but I think all of those can be easily found still if you dig hard enough. Nowadays he keeps a fairly low profile and will sometimes use the "At least I'm better than Chris-chan" line to show he's not at all like that anymore (but he'll never be able to escape 'Sailor Moon: American Kitsune', though. That gives Lady Macbeth a run for her money in terms of damned spots that won't come out)

Anyhow, on a different note, anyone know what Snapesnogger/OwlyGem has been up to these days? I recall she did get fairly better at art, but last I saw, she was bellyaching about people like her Steven Universe fan art more than her original works (gee, I wonder why) and being kind of passive-aggressive/shaming towards people who only liked the former versus the latter, thus proving that while she's gotten better at art... her sour attitude is still the same as it ever was when she was Snapesnogger.

I'd go with former politician, Tom Alciere. Here's some of his greatest hits...

-Destroyed his own career as a state representative when he openly advocated killing cops (he has a major hate-on for them) and ended up resigning when the public backlashed against him.
-Tried to set up an online program where pregnant, single women could get into loveless marriages with desperate men and raise the kid together instead of putting the tyke up for adoption. (He's highly against adoption as well.) It feel through quickly.
-Wrote a series of "erotic" political pieces which were nothing more than misogynistic, badly-written rape porn and the political stuff comes off more like the ranting of a know-nothing, edgelord teenager who isn't as smart as he thinks he is. One version of his story had the protagonist rape an unconscious grade schooler and another had him rape a mentally retarded woman.
-He's also a hyper-libertarian, but ran as a republican. He's pretty much the example of some of the worst aspects of the stereotypical libertarian. (Minus the hyper capitalism and Ron Paul/Ayn Rand worship.)

He pretty much disapeared, only to make minor apperances on Youtube (but that was two years ago). He started all his lolcowness at least six years too early. His bitter loveshy and misogyny would've made him popular among the more extreme branches of the MRAs. And his wacko ideas would've fit in even more. Yes, me and another riffer did make fun on his work.
