This has always been my view though I might not have explicitly said so to the staff about it. I'm not crazy about topics that have a Chris frame but are really along the lines of "Chris does X, let's talk about X." I sorta saw why people did this before when there were people who didn't even know we have a General forum but this is the case that everyone can see we have a General forum and that we've lowered the bar in regards to who can post there that they really shouldn't posting General topics with a Chris frame. MAYBE because they want more attention than General? In any case, I agree with you say.

I think they know if they start a general thread, it's judged just on its merits, and everyone knows it's just their opinion on something. But if it's Chris-related, it has an extra air of importance to it.

While we're at it, can we put a moratorium on threads with premises like "I'm better than Chris because X", "Let me list the ways I'm better than Chris because such as X, Y, and Z", and "I do X and Y like Chris does but I'm better because at least I don't do Z like he does"?

I know a lot of people realize that shit is stupid already, but it seems like we still get some of it sometimes.

That's definitive A-Logging right there. I don't check in on the Chris forum because 1. I'm not the mod for that area, and 2. Chris bores me, but if some A-Logging's going on there, the appropriate mods are gonna have to crack down on them, as it's already in violation of the established rules.

Oh, I remember when we all did that checklist thing, and I died at Dark.Hero's post of Axel with his shirt torn open on the side, as well as that other one where the user drew herself in, crushing a cigarette and saying, "fuck," so I'm usually okay with stuff like that. But if there is some, "na-na-na-na-boo-boo I'm better than Chris," stuff going on, I'll look into it.

EDIT: I just looked at the thread and realized the post of "the girl crushing a cigarette" was The Joker. Although I forgot what she used to go by on the old forums.

ANOTHER EDIT: I just realized it's practically the exact same thread as the one on the last forum. I think I'm gonna fill it out again because these things are fun like that.
