Yeah, but Funimation has the rights to the anime and refuse to release it. Funimation is owned by Sony and as far as I know Sony has backed a lot of their dumb prog movements.
Critical mass is rightstuf's porn division. So if it's coming out under that label I think that's why it got pulled from streaming. Like Monster Musume it walked the line between porn and a regular show.

Marketing sadly probably won't die off, but trends change which usually is the #1 cause of retarded ass marketers getting fired. If you're right on the cusp of a new trend emerging and the promotional campaign you've been working on for months comes out the next day and hits a brick fucking wall due to people wanting the newer brand new shit trend, your ass is canned on the spot.

They want the game to do well in China because the whole competitive scene is in Asia. The Chinese government has a laundry list of rules. Like swearing is allowed but it can't have anti-chinese slurs or regional slurs that are widespread in China.
Actually they've been cracking down pretty hard on the mobile. A lot of game companies have had to change past designs or straight up remove characters from the pool on Chinese servers.
Nah within the last 6 months they've put forth multiple bullshit initiatives. Both relating to social credit score stuff punishing cooming, meanwhile also punishing race mixing in a society where there's a genuine shortage of women. And this is before you get to video games.
