The culture of western countries as a whole degraded significantly, and video games logically being an extension of culture, also degraded. When I say culture, I do mean all culture: from a country culture's influence on art and entertainment, to business, to morality and quality of life in general.

You also cannot claim something like "how both sides are bad for not letting anyone has vidya fun in peace" when you participate yourself in the said problem, such as defending censorship and mocking others for making a stance against it.
