What I find absolutely amusing about all conspiracy theories is that they have the idea of the simultaneous hypercompetence and utter incompetence of the supposed conspirators once it goes full conspiratarding. Now, to be fair, there have been, are, and will be people who conspire and do bad shit together, try to hide it, and cover each others' asses. However, conspiracy theories tend to go to the most extreme ideas, no matter how nonsensical it actually is. This also tends to ignore the logistics of a given situation or the fact that, after it gets to a certain scale, there would be no way to keep a lid on some of this shit.

For example, yes, there's sketchy and at least some illegal shit (waste, fraud, and abuse law stuff) in the Podesta and DNC emails and their obsession with pizza is weird. But the amount of children that are supposedly kidnapped would make anyone sane go "Even going with what you're saying, where did they get these kids (because their parents and stuff would notice if their kid disappeared) and where did they go after whatever with the pedo satan cult? Are they all murdered? Where would they dump the bodies? If they eat the bodies in their entirety, shouldn't they have kuru by now? If they're shipped out of the country, shouldn't there be all sorts of records of flights to and from the country that are suspicious? Etc." The hypercompetence is that the conspirators supposedly can somehow hide all the evidence and tie up every minor loose end, even if someone would actually rat them out no matter the reprisal they would otherwise face. Some people have principles, dammit, but conspiracy theorists ignore that.

The sheer incompetence, using the Pizzagate example, is that somehow the sheer autism of the internet allowed some random people across the country figured this all out and that literally the whole of multiple investigative agencies won't do a goddamn thing (be it through threats or them also being in on it, depending on the conspiritard). It's also funny because, if they can cover up literally every loose end, why the hell wouldn't they just start murdering Pizzagaters and using their evidence-erasing magic to hide the bodies?

Conspiratards tend to have three classes of people in their idea structure, too:
1. The corrupt, who are pure evil and they fight against, or cowards who know what's going on and won't do a goddamned thing (in order to save their own asses).
2. The ignorant who don't have any principles but are also retarded and are thus irrelevant or are puppets of the corrupt.
3. The conspiracy nuts, who are both morally good and intelligent enough to see DA TRUFF (X-Files theme in the distance).

It's egotistical of them. Especially since any critic is either painted as being part of the conspirators or being an ignorant shill who's just parroting what they've been told.

However, that's also what makes it so damn funny. Their little group is the gift that keeps on giving in terms of milk.

Did you consider that maybe all of the wealthy are part of a secret cult that worships nameless gods from beyond space and time who feed on the misery and torment of small children and wipe the memories of the parents whose children are stolen and the bodies are floating forever in the eternity of the void and that they don't need to cover anything up because most people aren't capable of wrapping their minds around what those in the higher echelons of power are willing to do to stay in power and that those of us who are clever enough to get it are like ants to them and incapable of affecting them?
