So Chris needs money, eh?

I said before he might get gift cards if he did comics or videos in exchange for them. Why not go whole hog? Chris should do the internet era equivalent of a Jerry Lewis telethon (and that's a reference outdated enough that Chris might actually get it!) Yep, make a ten minute video (no editing) of himself talking about why he needs money, put it on Youtube, take donations. When he reaches $100, repeat. It would actually take little real effort, and it has a better-than-normal chance of working.

I realize this idea is just a new spin on the "Chris could monetize his internet presence" topic, but I think this is unique for two reasons- 1, Chris is actively begging for money and trying to sell anything he doesn't value. He doesn't value his time, so this might be an option. 2, the idea that THE INTERNET can magically grant him wishes is very strong in his mind at the moment.

As I said before, this is not trolling, because I'm only advocating giving Chris exactly what he's asking for, not to harass or upset him in any way.

Appoint a heroic volunteer to be Lego gatekeeper and take delivery of the haul.
Every week, a picture of a minifig is posted online, along with what Chris needs to produce content-wise to earn it. Nothing - the focus would be on motivating Chris' creative output; not trolling him or humiliating him.
Everyone putting in the $ gets a vote on what they want to request.
If Chris comes through, post a video of the minifig being put in the mail. If he doesn't, a video of it being donated to charity.

I dunno. Big risk, of course. But, it's been seen that Chris will play through vidya to get the trophies and achievements. If we gamified creating content, used a curve to incentivise long-term commitment (hit four straight goals and get something bigger, etc), maybe we could tap in to his well-honed vidya instincts and get consistent output...
