X Pac Heat

Games Shouldn't Be Art

So, with fixed bugs, maybe some more content (or mods), it might still be worth a purchase in a Steam Sale, I guess?
Honestly, on PC it's just kind of a mediocre game. There is some fun that can be had for 20 bucks, maybe 30 bucks if you really like the aesthetic or keanu reeves. I didn't even really have any bugs when I played it, but it has a severe lack of polish on all systems regardless and the game just feels like a mediocre Deus Ex HR/MD thrown into an unnecessary open world.

Hell the worst "bugs" I have even seen on the PC front is that ray tracing is apparently dogshit. I don't fuck with RT though so my playthrough stuck around 60 fps on mid to high settings.

The real shit show was on the consoles.

I already posted my impression of the game in this thread a good while ago, and my opinion hasn't really changed. I spent 60 hours doing a complete-ish run of the game and I didn't hate what I played. There were some obvious issues unbecoming of a AAA title and aspects of the gameplay felt pretty shallow, but the core of the game (driving between shootouts interspersed with narrative bits) is solid.
I just hope it gets some DLC because I cannot, for the life of me, bring myself to play it again. Because of the aforementioned shallowness, there is precisely zero reason to replay the game once you've done all the side content. Despite what you may expect, there is very little branching in the narrative aside from which way you decide to go after Arisaka at the end and who you bang. There's little satisfaction to be had from the looter shooter gameplay loop either because there are no enemies that can pose a serious challenge late in the game, and a lot of the stats are kind of busted anyway.

well, 2nd thread. and they even managed to get a passwordless sauce (link to dl) as it's known already, it be 96~97GB packed and will unpack to 160GB+, you can build your own version of the engine to fuck around and find the assets and must use vs2017. and they even made it a torrent with (magnet) link

Updated guide:
DOWNLOAD THIS: MAKE SURE TO INSTALL C++ UTILITIES AND MFC

Code:
Next, run this command in your Mainline folder:
%cd%\tools\buildsystem\premake5.exe vs2017 --file=%cd%\dev\src\premake5.lua --no-editandcontinue --no-incrementallink --mp-compilation

Afterwards, a solution will be generated in \dev\temp\vs2017. Open R6.sln and build your solution.

If you have any errors, they may be related to the Xbox One XDK not being available. You can use the SDK in xbox.7z in the folder named "!CP SDK"

Any binaries will be in /bin/$(Configuration)/
editorLauncher.exe
launcher.exe
cpLauncher.exe
cpServer.exe
Code:

Next, run this command in your Mainline folder:
%cd%\tools\buildsystem\premake5.exe vs2017 --file=%cd%\dev\src\premake5.lua --no-editandcontinue --no-incrementallink --mp-compilation

Afterwards, a solution will be generated in \dev\temp\vs2017. Open R6.sln and build your solution.

If you have any errors, they may be related to the Xbox One XDK not being available. You can ignore these.

All compilation is first prepared like this "C*\tools\buildsystem\premake5.exe vs2017 --file=C*\dev\src\premake5.lua --no-editandcontinue --no-incrementallink --mp-compilation" and then compiled in VS2017.
Assets are packaged something like "C*\bin\x64_DLL.Release\cmdlet.exe assemble-data -platform=x64 -dataCache=????? -outputDepot="C*\gameAP\CookedGame_x64\pc\" -outputCache="C*\gameAP\Dependencies\pc\" -gameData -defaultWorldsData -logname="C*\temp\assembleGameData_x64.txt" -buildId=1234567".
The default packaging uses a CDPR network storage, but the assets itself are in the archive. Some source editing of the cmdlet might be needed for a clean build. Sources for all CDPR tools are included.
But in any case you can take the game packages from store install and use your compiled engine.

Modders will figure it out. There are also build server logs included.

this is great to learn how polacks code, also it has funny comments too because crunch stress. *shit that was here previously is from a HL2 sauce leak*

this is is so raw i can already see a ton of mods coming from it, another anon found a level about the scrapped stuff. modders have so much to work on now the game might actually become good, even third person stuff like it was intended in 2013 before keanu simping.

Upload the videos here ffs, a couple of them are taken down. I'll comment on a few of note.

This first video is allegedly from 2013.

This two videos below are bug montages that the company made before release. The first video is part 2 of the montage and the first part got taken down. The second video is a different montage. EDIT: Nvm, found it.

More videos:

More videos of the devs dicking around, apparently.

That chicken drag video needs to be longer. So much longer. So you can fit the entire Initial D Soundtrack to it.

Fucking Polacks can't even do that right. Although, at this point it might be the Canadians at fault.

nope. it's either /v/ or suck a salty sosig.
the leak even had SDKs with signs for PS5 and XBSX.

Entire source code which has pieces of cut content including an entire unfinished build from 2013. And most likely has documentation on how to build everything,

This is basically every single fucking thing CDPR would never want you to see. Shit that will get them sued by all three console makers.

No. It has SDKs and signing data that can enable you to crack open the PS5 and SEX like an egg. Shit you are not ever allowed to distribute and even having it stolen like this will result in a lawsuit due to negligence.

I thought the Xbox Series S already let you install a dev kit on your console, like it was an Ouya, effectively turning it into an emulator? A very nice and stable emulator, too. Does the X deny you that ability?

you can install it in your pc instead and the devkit can be reversed.
basically bringing piracy to ps5 and XBSX faster.

on /g/ the work is going quite fast, really.
