it might be older but I'm watching it now...but Hardcore Henry does everything story-wise Cyberpunk wish it could...and the Action is top notch as well. very satisfying Cyberpunk adventure imo.

Not having scenes like that where an ass-beating would trigger a Relic malfunction via its life-saving protocols into giving Silverhand temporary control is a sin against action scenes. Who the hell wouldn't want to have Silverhand take over and kill three assholes in a bar with a pen? A fucking... pen. Hell, given that the Relic takes up the sixth attribute/skill slot in your character sheet where a CP2020 class skill would go its possible something like that may have been planned but cut.

Theres so many things in Henry that just made me go......Cyberpunk wasn't just a bad/overpromised game. It completely cuts the whole 'cyberpunk' world from the game and really is just a generic 'future' first person action game.

To be fair, Cyberpunk is the more gritty, professional take on things. Its Blade Runner and Gibson dystopia, not anything actually cool and fun. It isn't like Shadowrun where the game encourages you to make a super-badass snowflake from the start. Its the crime spree of the 1980's taken up to 11 and given a chrome polish.

We don't even get Blood Dragon and the genetically-engineered T-Rexes or best of all, a nuked Canada. No cool Cybercommandoes unless you feel like dying in a shithole Latin American jungle, no Kung Fury laser raptors or fist-fights with Hitler Kung Fuerher. Its the nihilism of the times when everyone thought things were just going to get worse and worse, and nuclear war was going to happen sooner, not later. It was written in the 1980's, not afterwards and in remembrance of. CP 2020, the second edition came out in 1990 before the optimism of the end of history happened, 1e, CP2017, came out in 1988.

sony/ms can probably just block it via update, depends if the timeframe till then leads to anything severe and irreversible.

They'd have to brick everyone with a current copy of 2077 on Xbox/ps5 due to the engine being compiled with that signature. CDPR would need to completely recompile with a new signature and force endusers to redownload the game.
