Necromunda, despite having some Eurojank bring it down, has great gunplay and you can actually customize your bounty hunter and dog. The movement system is a joy, things explode into chunks like they should in 40k, and the setting is fantastic. Hell, the hub zone is literally a church with a bar and armory inside.

I wish melee had better implementation, but the guns and crazy powers are fun enough that I'll live. Crazy how something forty dollars new schools CP20777 a scant six months after its release.
Necromunda is a pretty sick game.
Streum On studios doesn't always execute perfectly (EYE will forever be one of my favorite games, however) but they always have a lot of soul and love put into them.

Trouble with them is there's very little to do in their games. While they've managed to nail the feel of 40k perfectly with both Necromunda and Space Hulk: Deathwing, the actual gameplay cycle is very repetitive which makes it difficult to maintain any long-term engagement, at least for me. The gunplay is great but... well, Eurojank gonna Eurojank.

Here's the new roadmap:

And to compare to the old one:

>DLC changed to "small additional content"
>Next Gen update delayed to 2022
>Still vague as shit
Lmao the absolute state of this game

It reminds me of Mass Effect.

I can't play Mass Effect past leaving the Citadel cause I just start thinking about Mass Effect 3 and get demoralized.
Yeah that too is another good example

I find myself looking to see what studios like Warhorse are doing, but they're taking ages. They have more comments on rando historical youtube channels then they have updates for whatever game they're putting out next.

It retroactively tarnishes playing Witcher 2 or 3 again because you know that CDPR will never put out another game like it ever again.

I mean with Blizzard it was a slow decline, and the positive feelings faded slowly

CDPR fucking up was closer to a gutpunch or someone breaking you shins.
Eh. Witcher 2/3 are some really great games. Maybe its because I only laughed at CP2077 but Witcher 3 is still a really fun medieval story with an engrossing world. I'm sure in the next few years the real hands/brains behind Witcher 2/3 will come out and we will begin associating the success of that series with the individuals vs CD Projekt Red in general.

I'm morvidly fond of CDPR, ngl

CDPR looks at the ass-hats overseas (EA, Gearbox, Ubisoft, Bethesda, etc.) with envious eyes. What sets CDPR apart is their habit of Freudian slips and generally getting their heads stuck in jars.

Apparently the game got relisted on the PlayStation Store ahead of schedule, lasted for a couple of hours, and then got delisted again. With no explanation as to why that happened.

1.23 Patch highlights:
More bugfixes
Cataresist cybermod now works (lol)
NPC clothes clipping now "fixed"
Rocks in the badlands look nicer
Some Johnny visuals fixed
Stability fixes and console cpu optimizations
You can now press the upgrade button when playing on 1280x720
You can now Verify integrity of your game
But the best to me:
Fixed an issue where one of the Maelstromers was T-posing during The Pickup mission

Tl:dr: Dead game get some fixes that shouldn't have been problems on release

Full honesty, I’ve had the game sitting on my shelf since Christmas - wasn’t my money, so whatever - and I keep debating whether I should try and clear the fucking thing out of spite if nothing else now that they’ve been patching it.

It lasts until I remember I’m on a Base PS4 and every crash corrupts the settings, but I just want to go through it once to say I did. The fact that even half a year after launch the game is still this fucked is hilarious, and depending on how the lolsuits go if Cyberpunk brings down CDPR entirely I’ll likely be in pain from laughing at this shitshow
