since the game comes out in Japan in 6 days. To all those who keep up with the series, are you going to wait for western release instead of jumping at the fan translations? im still debating.

and what do you think of the content we've seen so far about the game?

Watching all the people on tumblr freak out is what makes my day.

As for the game itself, I'm really digging it so far! It's very asethetically pleasing, and they've brought in new things to trials to keep things interesting!

Just watch out for that first execution. As in DR tradition, it's a doozy!

Ive only checked out the cast so far. I wasnt expecting a female protagonist much less one that has an actual talent.

Im really hyped tho. I loved sdr2 and nagitos role in it so im really curious if they could top it.

i honestly don't know what people were expecting since Kodaka's fond of fucking with people and going batshit insane with plots.

The fact its using the same formula as DR1 again is kinda bullshit though. It made sense with SDR2 especially since it was increasingly meta about it, but I dunno why that'd be the case in this.

I've already had to unfollow people on Tumblr because of their immense, hysterical, entitled tantrums over this game. I'm up to here with "KODAKA DID [insert character] WRONG" and "LET'S TAKE THE SERIES AWAY FROM KODAKA AND REWRITE IT, WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!".

Ugh.

There's a complete translated version of it on YouTube if anyone wants to check it out. The guy translates pretty slowly though and some of the thumbnails contain spoilers so do this at your own risk.

And yeah, the game is nuts. Personally I think it's great up until the final chapter. Kodaka jumped the shark, that's all I'm gonna say.
