Who is Dan Arel?

To put it simply: he's a spergy left-wing atheist activist, freelance journo and verified twitter user. Now, what makes him a lolcow worth paying attention to?

He's pretty much using his platform on twitter to yell at or about people that he doesn't like. And he's really really fucking easy to rile up. People do it all the time without even really trying.

For example here is some recent drama after he expressed some "Listen and Believe" type rhetoric, which led to mockery by anti-Feminist twitters like Ian Miles Cheong

The thing about Dan is that he's really smug, arrogant, and he has a complete inability to stop taking obvious bait. Even going so far as to imply the fact that he's easily milked for his lolz is some kind of virtuous stance that he's doing it for activism rather than just being a thing motivated by asspain.
