Meet Daniel Mizuho Llamas. Daniel (AKA Growly / AlmightyTORA) is a twice convicted pedophile who has been in the Furry Fandom since 1999. He's most famous for raping little boys, denying he raped little boys, befriending OTHER people who have raped little boys (and dogs), & having a shitfit with anyone who confront him on raping said little boys. Despite his MULTIPLE convictions, he has still been allowed to attend furry conventions as late as May 2019 (BLFC).

His Convictions

His first offense dates back to March 2001 when he & his ex bf, Troy Gaede, had sex with a 14yo multiple times over the course of 3 months. By Daniel's own testament, he was arrested at mommy & daddy's house & then charged with 4 Lewd Acts with a Minor + 1 count of using a minor to create pornography. He (and his ex) attempted to fight the charges for several months, objecting multiple plea deals, before pleading " No Contest " to one count of Lewd or Lascivious Acts with a Child 14 or 15 years old. As a result, he would serve 2 years of a 3 year sentence as well as being added to the Sex Offender Registry.

This, however, is not how Growly saw the events. He claims that his ex was the one who did all those things & he just so happened to be sleeping in the same room. He does, however, cop to sending the kid nudes of himself, which I find hilariously disgusting. This is his one and only bargaining chip which he attempted to use on the DA after his ex more or less sold him up the river by snatching the plea deal first. Thankfully, the DA knew better and refused to give up without getting Daniel charged with something that would require him to be on the Sex Offender Registry. This was the one and only offer Daniel was given & it was done so with a time limit in order to force him to accept - otherwise the trial would proceed & he'd be royally fucked. Daniel then goes on to whine & cry about how hard jail & parole was, how him volunteering / staffing at furry conventions is in any fucking way equivalent to repaying his debt for raping a child, and then passive aggressively whinging that he still wasn't at fault for his own predatory actions.

Funnily enough, this conversation started because Daniel was attempting to have Dragoneer ban someone who was posting his conviction on FA.

As I've been told, Eevee was staff for FA at the time so him & Melanie were one of the first to find out about Growly's ban. As a result, they banned him from their wedding. It wasn't because they were actually offended by him soliciting a minor - they just knew that having him at their wedding was bad optics


This is not the 1st time he had done it either since his release. Lulznet released a series of screenshots from a conversation between Daniel & another minor over AIM.


Meanwhile, as this huge spectacle was progressing, his Wikifur page was being updated with all this information. I bring this up because in the logs with Dragoneer, he mentions attempting to get in contact with GreenReaper, the owner of Wikifur. Apparently he not only managed to get through but also engaged GR & another moderator in a slapfight.

Part of what makes this so noteworthy to me (aside from him failing at Gay Ops) is that Sangie of all fucking people took offense to Daniel being staff at RMFC

Finally, we have his most recent arrest dates to July 10th, 2019. He was charged with possession of Child Pornography under CA penal code 311.11(a). For whatever bizarre reason though, he was released on 9/26/19 with time served instead of giving this sick fuck the chair.

Daniel didn't even have a chance to attend as he was pre-emptively banned. The convention has prided itself on being a family friendly event, going as far to ban Pups & ABDL furries from attending.

Further Confusion 2019
This ban wasn't directly targeting him, but due to the changes in the CoC 2 weeks before the convention took place, Daniel was forbidden from attending. Given the timing of the policy change as it was a mere 3 months after his release from jail, it's speculated that the policy change was motivated by him. FC has been noted as one of the 1st mainstream conventions to implement a policy that bans registered sex offenders.

Golden State Fur Con 2019
Due to Daniel's previous behavior towards staff as well as his conviction, he was banned from attending this event. However, this didn't stop him from trying to attend a private room party. Allegedly, he was invited by someone else but according to this tweet, one of the party hosts did NOT want him there. He was promptly escorted out.

Unsure as to what led up to the events of this ban but beforehand, Daniel was allowed to attend & be on staff due to him providing DJ equipment according to @Sneed's Feed And Seed.

At the time of writing, these are the only conventions (to my knowledge) that he's been banned from. There are smaller meets he's also been banned from but as they're more interpersonal, it's more difficult to post proof. Word has it though that most of the smaller meetups have allowed Daniel to attend until a concerned parent has come forward to complain once they discover who he is.

I also have every photo gallery that Daniel uploaded to Google Drive downloaded. In it, he took photos with Kero, Tane , Cani Lupine, Gabriel Sickel, Meerkat45, Cupid the Deer, and others. Even after zipping the entire gallery, it was too large. Had to be split up into several parts.

Considering the number of zoos who follow him, something tells me he himself is a zoo. This would line up with his predatory nature so there's cause for concern of the cat he owns. (I archived something about him having a cat but can't find it).

Closing Thoughts
As it stands currently, there is a very apparent schism between the Old Generation of furries and the Young Generation. The youth are adamant about ridding people like Daniel from the fandom at large but the old guard tentatively keeps him around. Why? Beats the fuck out of me. Problem is that (for now) the Old Guard still retains the majority control on conventions. They're the staff. They're the Board. They're the Chair members. The youth are just volunteers for the most part. I can't say definitively if this issue will actually resolve in the next couple of decades and the fandom will be a better place. That's what the optimist in me wants to say. However, degenerates like Daniel are like Hydras. You get rid of 1 and 5 take his place. This won't end until the entire fandom is purged.
