DarksydePhil gives more casual gamers a bad name by the looks of several of the comments shown in the MGS vids.

It's just hilarious how he's running around struggling with The End whining about not knowing how to properly use the SVD, and when the Major actually calls him to tell him how, he just tells him to fuck off.

I've heard of him (read:watched that Retsupurae ChipCheezum and slowbeef did). I also heard he threw a massive fucking Twitter temper tantrum over that.

EDIT: he also never, NEVER admits mistakes. It's either 'waaahh the controls are so terrible' or 'this game is bugged WHAT THE FUCK' (for best results, read those in the voice of an agitated five year old).

I'd say he's pretty good lolcow material, just by having such a fucking bloated ego.

Is he the guy on chipcheezumSA that played MGS 2 and got angry at the game all the time? "WHAT THE FUCK, I TOUCH HIM AND MY CLOTHES FALL OFF?!"-guy?

Yup. Retsupurae is the only way I can stand to watch any of his videos, because watching them straight just pisses me off.

DSP calls a guy that has over 1000 matches a loser despite the fact that DSP sits on his ass all day playing video games for a living. This is all regardless of the fact that the guy he is playing against is top 10 in the world at Injustice. How dare someone play a game a bunch of times simply for the sake of having fun. You also get to see what a gracious sport he is in victory.

Hearing how he mocks a guy for playing games and not making money just shows how, for lack of a better word, mean-spirited he is. Some of people may play a 1000 online matches of a fighting game, invested 100 hours in a sand-box rpg, and/or even spent many times replaying games we enjoy because they enjoy playing that game, investing their time in it, whether its replaying an old game from ten years to relive the nostalgia or playing a slightly old game because we enjoy playing it. To hear him call a guy a loser just because he has over a 1000 matches proves how much of a jerk he is, especially since his living is playing video games all day for youtube. As for his sportsmanship as a gamer, I can only post this video from Extra Creditz in showing how a good gamer's sportsmanship should be.

I'm aware a Dark Souls video has already been posted, but another person has gone and made a Dark Souls version of the MGS2-3 video showcasing comments and most of the fails achieved that weren't deaths. For example, did you know that he didn't know what the d-pad did until part 11 but it's okay, it's the game's fault and not his.

If he were to grow up, he would either keep on making LP's where he gets money thanks to ad revenue or he could actually go and get a job. Of course, its obvious as to which one he chooses, just making LPs for a living where he will keep getting himself killed in-game, blaming it all on the game and its dev's when it is clearly his fault for getting killed. Imagine if he played a game like I Wanna Be The Guy. He'd blame the creator every time he dies, never mind the fact that the game is suppose to be harder than a hard game like Dark Souls.

Exactly. Making LPs is easy money, and apparently he can afford a decent life off it. I've got nothing against living off LPs, but these LPers need to realize that it's a rather shaky career and have something to fall back upon should it not work out right. You know, I'll give Phil this. He does at least seem to have some appreciation for games. A lot of big-name or wannabe Youtube LPers, you watch their videos and you can just see it's like work for them. They're so burned out that they just have no appreciation or enthusiasm. Phil, obnoxious, mean-spirited, and loudmouthed though he may be, seems to actually enjoy at least some of the stuff he plays. It doesn't excuse his myriad flaws, but credit where credit's due.

Since he threw this tantrum and threw the Wii U in the trash, he wasted a lot of money that could of been made if he sold it to someone. As for the law suit, I can imagine it getting thrown out the window.

Speaking of let's play's, I wonder how the LP community feels about DSP, considering his attitude and his Nintendo tantrum, then again that would be like wondering how, say, guy in a movie dies just after you see him die with every detail to his death.
