As a Let's Player myself, I'm fully ashamed by DSP.

So your a let's player then? I'd like to see the let's play's you have. Speaking of let's play's, I wonder how the LP community feels about DSP, considering his attitude and his Nintendo tantrum, then again that would be like wondering how, say, guy in a movie dies just after you see him die with every detail to his death.

Well if you want to see my LP, the link to my YT channel is on my signature. As of the LP community's feelings about DSP, well most of us was like "meh" but when people level us to DSP, PDP, Tobuscus, GG and other "celebrity" LP'ers we are embarrassed, disgusted and dismayed. That is how we really feel, LP's are supposedly to showcase the game, enjoying the game and entice the audience that you have to somehow purchase the game itself. But now it comes to person playing the game, not the game being played by the person. :ugeek:

Since he threw this tantrum and threw the Wii U in the trash, he wasted a lot of money that could of been made if he sold it to someone.

If he was smart, he probably just did that as a show, then dug it out afterwards and took it to Gamestop. Although, from what I've seen of Phil, I can imagine him just throwing it away entirely.

As for the law suit, I can imagine it getting thrown out the window.

There's no way that would fly, and I can honestly see it making things worse for Let's Players. If companies start thinking that they're gonna get sued by random Youtube wackos, then they might just go 'Hey, let's nip this thing in the bud' and start taking down any unauthorized Youtube videos of their games.

One thing I can say regarding DSP and Dark Souls that I honestly Do not mind, is DSP getting the Link the Fire ending to Dark Souls. Granted, players say it is a bad ending due to the fact that you extend the rules of the gods and what not but then again, that ending along with the Dark Lord ending is open to interpretation, so really if I linked the fire, my character would pretty much just chill out and do random stuff in the kiln while he is the human torch and if he became the Dark Lord, one of the serpents would kill him for good now that the curse of the undead if gone and he can't rule the world. That is one thing I did like about DSP's Dark Souls play-through, thinking his character became the human torch.

MGS2 was bad.
MGS3 was even worse.
MGS1 takes hypocrisy, obvious non-enjoyment of the game, and racism to a whole new level.

It's clear that he hates playing the Metal Gear Solid games and he only LP'd MGS1 just so he can rake in the views.

It's kinda sad really. What's the point of even playing a game you hate other than because you're paid to?

I did learn something from that video though: the whole key card that changes depending on temperature thing is entirely plausible.

Apparently he LPed Assassin's Creed 3 with her and they got into fights on camera, according to TVTropes. She was trying to tell him to pay attention to the tutorial.

Also, I friggin' love that 'How NOT to play Dark Souls' video. He dies in ways I didn't think were possible. He'd be a great comedy LPer if he wasn't so mean-spirited and obnoxious, actually captured the video as opposed to camcordering it, and employed some kind of editing.

Would it helped she listened to cutscenes, codec conversations, and even look up Liquid on the MGS wiki? If DSP were to play No More Heroes and fought against Henry, his girlfriend would ask "If Travis and Henry are brothers, why does Henry have a different accent?"

DSP calls a guy that has over 1000 matches a loser despite the fact that DSP sits on his ass all day playing video games for a living. This is all regardless of the fact that the guy he is playing against is top 10 in the world at Injustice. How dare someone play a game a bunch of times simply for the sake of having fun. You also get to see what a gracious sport he is in victory.

I only watch two Lpers on a regular basis. Northernlion (darksouls and indi games) and Markiplier (horror and indi who got crazy popular in the last year). They're examples of people who do something DSP doesn't and that's make me laugh.

I saw a youtube comment saying that he might genuinely have some kind of learning disability, because he just cannot fucking learn from his mistakes. I'd believe it. Even if you were playing a game you couldn't stand, wouldn't you at least try to get better at it so you can get through it faster? Either that, or his ego is so bloated that he honestly thinks he can make a video of him dying over and over again funny.

You know who Phil reminds me of? Chris Bores. Seriously, same near-total lack of skill, same 'Im a SRS GAMUR guyz lol' bullshit, same jerkass attitude, same absolutely mind-boggling displays of stupidity, same oversized ego. Although, give Bores credit, at least he doesn't use a fucking camcorder to record a TV screen.
