[Need Help With Tips]

Phil has hit what, 3 tips goals in the past 10 or so streams? And guess what, paypigs, he's gonna be fine. He has his mortage and MUH TAXES in the next week but he's not gonna be destitute. He will make it til his Youtube payment arrives. He isn't in dire straits, he's making more than average. Stop throwing your money into a bottomless well.

This clip always tugs at my heartstrings, this poor guy spent the last 10 years living on an above-average to well-above-average salary while doing nothing except playing video games and drinking gin. I don't know if anyone has had it tougher than Dave, I'd probably cry and lose sleep at night knowing retards were gonna throw me $200 to play a video game for two hours.

I'm not going to reveal my power level, but my age is between 30 and 40. I suspect many farmers are between these numbers. Since my 20's my life has only gotten better, I have had s secure job for 11 years. I have friends, I have a life. Many people here have changed in a decade, many have left us and some still hang around. The only person who hasn't changed is Phil.

Man I had a few thoughts reading this, first of all the part about your job instantly makes me think of the whole "dsp the immortal" or "dsp is unkillable" bullshit and how it relates to his career. By all objective standards, dsp's "career" has been in a steady decline the past 10 years. 10 years ago he made way more money and had a much larger fanbase, got more views and was able to participate in fgc and gaming events. How does he not recognize he is a shell of his former self and was "killed" years ago? He simply manages to just exist on the internet now, thats his big win, just continuing to exist. If I made less money and had a less respectable role than I did 10 years ago, I would consider my career a complete failure. You're supposed to make more money as your career progresses and generally have less stress to deal with. Dsp is doing the opposite

Secondly, thinking about how much a person goes through and experiences in a decade makes me think about how dsp has basically lived the same day every day for years now. I dont have the most exciting life and I'm not going to powerlevel too much but comparing everything I've done the past 10 years to dsp who just woke up, played video games and then went to sleep is really just sad. Just think about the most memorable things you've done or experienced since dsp started streaming, whether it was the birth of a child, a cool vacation, good times with friends or family, a career/job related accomplishment, concerts/sporting events or anything else really, whatever day/days you went through that, dsp played video games all day that day alone in his room.

Its the fact that even his biggest problems could have been solved or mitigated with minor effort. He could have sold his condo years ago, or sold it before he moved. He could have not acted like a total simp for a teenage girl. He could have curbed his spending, followed up on his patreon obligations, or just apologized and owned up to his shitty behavior, He could have stopped wasting money on gacha games, stopped spending thousands every 4 months on staycations, and stopped being a general all around stupid faggot. He chose not to do these things, and he is blubbering on stream because he knows he is fucked regardless of how much money he makes (or doesn't make) on stream.

DSP has toned down that he needs 200 dollars or more per stream to pay his bills and what's funny is that he started not to mention it after it was posted here that he had made an average of 247 dollars a stream. Seems like Phil also thinks his paypiggies are reading the posts here.

I didn't know about that theory, so you made me listen to the letter this was indeed in response too, and for a time I thought it did sound a bit like Phil but not much more, but then it turned into a long string of grandiose compliments to D.S.P. and I have to admit it does sound like Phil wrote it.

They've been crazy with the gifted subs lately. Recent streams usually take about half an hour to get started because Johnny's busy reading all the sub messages.

And not a single mention of taxes or groceries.

Yet earlier today he downloaded the demo for that edgy final fantasy cross Nioh game and in turn, It pushed Virtua Fighter off the dashboard.

Once again Phil is inept at his simple ass job.

I put forward a question to you all.
To be generous I'll say 10 years to put DSP at 50. What the hell does DSP have to look back on in his golden years? He could've had it all and then some but being an asshole to everything and everyone put him where he's at now. His mindset of -anyone that isn't him, is succesful in live streaming games and having business relationships with companies and devs and getting free consoles, all the perks- were/are looked down upon/sellouts, in DSPs mind no one can love gaming and not be considered a sellout or ass kisser. Even some streamers have actual jobs and got perks that came with playing video games. Here we are and Phil sees himself as successful. So I wonder.

Phil is screeching about attacks working when they shouldn't and stuffing his, and complaining that people have moves that counter his, making allegations that characters are broken because nothing counters them...

He knows none of this. By his own admission, he is unfamiliar with the franchise and this is his 3rd stream with the game? His 2nd with this character?
In other fighting games he may have had some credibility because of past experiences, but now he is making assumptions about matchups based on one or two matches. It's clear that anything that beats Phil is complete BS to him, even though he has next to no idea what's going on.

Good thing he doesn't have any fighting game credibility left. If he did, this would be embarrassing.

First of all, Phil lived with cats - his mom had several. This is a weird phrasing considering they were family pets.
