I just tend to be optimistic with Phil's stuff. Anyway, telling your viewers that a staff member said that who reports someone is an idiot is a pretty fucked up thing to say, imho

I see what you're saying, but this it Twitch. To say they dwarf those other business would be to put it lightly. They've swept the Darksyde Circus under the rug for this long, they can keep doing it.

I'd say 2 days. Remember how we were "Never gonna learn ANYTHING" about his new girlfriend cause he learned his lesson? Or that we'd get absolutely no info on Phil and Leanna's break up?
The guy can't even go to the store without telling us every little detail and posting pics on instagram. We're gonna get the full info we just gotta be patient like always.

I'm honestly sorry for Hassan, I really don't think he has anything to do with Phil. I give him that he tells the right professional approach: Use the report button if something is wrong and it will arrive in the right hands. He can't allow himself to break internal rules and act out of the allowed box just because people on Twitter are jittery. Some people really need to calm down.

Or they give Twitch the impression the reports are bullshit, his detractors are unmatured idiots and they do Phil an unwelcome favor. This is the last thing that should happen. Phil has one single strength: Trip over his own feet. He can do that by himself (Of course it's okay to point out Phil's bullcrap so nobody falls for his shenanigans. Which is basically what for example KF does, for all I know).

[EDIT] The tweets above gave me no other impression. Reports don't change something on the fly and the new Twitch rules are... well ... new. And Phil had his timeout a few hours ago so what sould they do? Suddenly ban him again? This would be unfair. But I doubt Phil's saying of what a certain mod said ("idiots") will get unnoticed IF reported via the correct procedure.

If Twitch handles everything professionaly they have an internal list of things their streamers do (result of reports). If the reports reach a certain level of repetition they are forced to act with the speed and with the methods THEY see most fitting. Don't forget: Twitch can't just hammer around like crazy people, they must be careful.

This blows my mind. The staff explodes and vents his frustrations about "reddit users" and others forming "hate mobs".

This is so fucking stupid for plenty of reasons. I already explained this in detail but the problem here is miscommunication and a LACK of it. Noone within the twitch community has a designated Forum to talk to staff or twitch reps as a whole. No forums, no contacting. Nothing. If you do a "report" it never gets a valid response. Then people get pissed off and wonder what the fuck the problem is. If twitch literally made a forum attached to there site to allow the community to discuss things it would change the entire mindset of the majority of users. One being they would feel like Twitch is listening but thatd be a problem for twitch. The Staff pointed it out, thatd make twitch not be "Faceless" anymore and they would have to actually deal with the glaring fucking issues wrong with the site. Its easier to count your money and lock out the public criticism then open the fucking door and answer questions.

You could just tell Hassan here is just burned out over probably years of shit he gets because Twitch gives zero fucks about feedback
