As much as I hate to say it, any press really is good press, and your average tumblrite won't even register that the entire con was a scam. All the ballpit fiasco has done is raise awareness for Dashcon, and it'll more than likely actually have decent attendance this year.

lol they rebranded as 'emoti-con' and liquidated their assets so no one could get a refund. iirc, two of the previous admins (megg, in her 30s and caine who is... 20) ran the emoti-con facebook and refused to answer questions about dashcon money or anything related to that colossal monument to tumblr aids

hopefully megg and caine will try to use 'so attacked' (that's their company name) for a ruse cruise in 2016, but nothing this year. womp
