Forgive me if I'm not keeping up, but is the settled time for David's streams Saturday morning America time? Or is he just kind of doing it when he feels like it?
I believe he streams Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights around 10:30pm EST
Just catching up with yesterday's show. This tune is a banger, going on my gym play list.
So this is the guy that challenged David to a debate on the shape of the Earth. Really interesting subscriber count to view and upload ratio. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy ended up secretly being a pedo or was into cuck porn or something.

I had a look at a couple of his videos and it's mostly tutorials and practice problems for tests. I thought he might be a Hank Green type but he literally just shows how to do formulas etc. I don't think it matters though if he legitimately knows what he's talking about I think Stay could completely annihilate him with nonsense.
There's a certain type of crazy person, that has enough life experience, presence and charisma, that people are always going to side with him in arguments.
David had the classic boomer reaction to having his crazy challenged; i.e. "I'll sleep fine tonight you won't!" "No space for you between my ears!" whilst spending 10 minutes or so responding. It was hard to listen to. This is shaping up to be a good time.
My first thought was sub botting but then I looked at his numbers in socialblade. While sure it's still a possibility, I'm thinking what he's experiencing is the same issue a lot of dry educational channels experience - most videos are either too niche or are off-topic (like his blog stuff) and don't get too many views but several videos, such as his intro to *insert science topic* videos hit the algorithm just right and, while not going "viral", will have an insanely long tail end that makes the video view chart look more like a plateau than the spike most videos get. As a result, he gets a lot of 'near-dead' subs that only subscribed for explanations of topics they were taking classes on and will barely ever watch more than one or two videos of his.
Notice how none of his top videos have an insanely disproportionate view count.

I can't wait. Any debate David hosts he will probably destroy, he's witty enough to hold his own in a conversation and his beliefs are incomprehensible enough that it's going to be impossible to not look like an asshole debating him. Not to mention that you'd have to be a huge faggot to want to try to tear apart his theories anyway, which looks to be the case here.
I'm so looking forward to this. Stay's got that Jim Jones energy. Prof. Dave's science has no place in Stay's house.

Without doing any research my guess would be that he's from the new atheist era of youtube when everyone was pretending that knowing how magnets work is really important and he has a lot of dead accounts still subscribed to him.
The reason why he'd want to debate David when he has over a thousand times his subscriber count is the same as the reason why atheist channels went after creationist channels with 10 views back in the day - they want to btfo a literally who and pretend like they're god's gift to reddit.

Is he an actor playing the role of lunatic fringe conspiracy guy, or is he not pretending? Well if what he say is true about him working in some law firm, it's not likely he have this mandarisms in his everyday life, and is just putting on some act.
