NewProject2 is so small in comparison to, well, most businesses involving online transactions. It is such a blip in the grand scheme of the minor scheme of things. What is frightening about this is, when Dick first started NewProject2, he said that he will remove people from the service if the bank asks, but, in this case, the banks didn't ask. They just dropped NewProject2 entirely with no avenue to appeal.

Also, I imagine people who used cards linked to their name to pay creators on NewProject2 are probably on some list called "Problematic Consumers" now.

Dick has explained before on one show or another that he'd rather have NP2 go down and try finding a new bank afterwards than use a high-risk service. They're less lenient with their terms than other processors because they have to know exactly what the money they're transacting is going towards. They'll shoot down anything that isn't very clear with what they're doing. Porn is porn; it may be risque but it's predictable and makes money. Having people say whatever they want on the other is unruly buisness. It's dangerous for investors as a potential PR liability or worse lead them to being party to a civil or criminal suit they really don't want to fuck with in exchange for a few thousand dollars a month at most. Even then the high-risk processors are still at the mercy of credit card companies, so if they take the NP2 business on they could still be forced to drop it.

I must say. I didn't get the appeal of this man and wht most Kiwis like him until I saw the Dr. Phil tapes.

He is a master at rhetoric, I must say. Not only did he play up a character to expose housewives who watch daytime television for the outrage as well as exposed Dr. Phil, but he plays it so well. I'm in complete awe.

Especially when he simplifies his argument into the whole "I don't need to taste crap to see crap". He is genuinely good at taking advantage of people in their most vulnerable, personally insulted state. He is aware of the mind and how it responds to different levels of defamation. Certain types of people have begged for private censorship from our corporate oligarchs and they answered our prayers. They are just and good. It's a power that they will never abuse. Seeing people including "liberals" and the National Review,etc. "conservative" set cheering in approval of the outsourcing of censorship to powerful corporations has really made me somewhat angry. I can't believe that a professional broadcasting company would archive its video content in highly compressed .wmv files with everything out of whack.
These video files were almost certainly reencoded using incorrect parameters, which is why a) there are horizontal and vertical bars making the screen smaller and b) the aspect ratio is wrong, lol!
To correct this, set the aspect ratio to 1:1 and crop to 4:3 in your video player to get the best results.
